THE WORD+ of GOD was made FLESH ~ John 1:14 ~ ADVENT 2022

And the WORD+ was made Flesh,

and dwelt among us,

and we beheld HIS+ Glory,

the GLORY as of

the ONLY-BEGOTTEN+ of THE FATHER,

full of Grace and Truth.

John 1:14

+  +  +

GOD is not a man, that HE should lie;

neither the son of man, that HE should repent:

hath HE said, and shall he not do it?

or hath HE spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Numbers 23:19

+ + +

The WORD+ of GOD --- Which cannot lie --- became Flesh.

+  +  +

2:6 Who+, being in the form of GOD,

thought it not [a thing to be held onto] to be equal with GOD

2:7 But made HIMSELF+ of no reputation,

and took upon HIM+ the form of a servant,

and was made in the likeness of men:

2:8 And being found in fashion as a man,

HE+ humbled HIMSELF+,

and became obedient unto death,

even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:6-8

+  +  +

HE+ took our flesh upon HIM+ . . . The ONE+ through WHOM+ the world was created.

Hebrews 2:9

But we see Jesus,

WHO+ was made a little lower than the angels

for the suffering of death,

crowned with glory and honor;

that HE+

by the Grace of GOD

should taste death for every man.

We Thank THEE+, O LORD, for Coming in the Flesh

to die like us men,

so that we might,  by Thy+ SPIRIT,

 live with THEE+.

What GOOD NEWS !  Let us not keep these Good Tidings under a bushel . Let us practice REACHING OUT for the Kingdom of GOD.

Let us REACH OUT during this joyous Season to the Lost, to the sad, to those with no hope in this world. . . to bring them the JOY of the Good News of Salvation.

They CAN have joy and peace in JESUS. They CAN have a new, clean beginning in HIM+.

Here is an idea:

Equip yourself with a Christmas card ABOUT JESUS.

Put in a repentance-type of Gospel Tract.

Include a $5 bill.

Then keep a sharp eye out when you are around the public at work, while shopping, in the library, at the post office, at the gas pump,  etc.

Being led by the SPIRIT. ask HIM to show you to whom to give the card.

Strike up a welcoming smile and  tell that person that The LORD has led you to give someone a Christmas blessing today . . . and present them with the card.  Tell them there is a little gift in it that he might like, not to throw it away until he looks inside !

If The LORD opens the conversation up, ask him about how he keeps Christmas . . .  and then lead the conversation back to The LORD JESUS.

Practice being led by The HOLY SPIRIT as you do this out-reach.
