HE+ Took upon HIMSELF+ the Seed of Abraham --- Hebrews 2:16 & Galatians 3:16 & Genesis 22:18 --- ADVENT 2022

 

HE+ Took upon HIMSELF+ the Seed of Abraham . . . not of angels.

Hebrews 2:16

For verily HE+ took not on HIM+ the nature of angels;

but HE+ took on HIM + the seed of Abraham.

Galatians 3:16

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made.

HE saith not,

And to seeds, as of many;

but as of ONE,

And to thy Seed, which is CHRIST.

Genesis 22:18

And in thy Seed

shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;

because thou hast obeyed MY Voice.

The SURE WORD of Prophecy of the First Advent of the MESSIAH +  has been fulfilled at the Incarnation of JESUS CHRIST our LORD.  

John 1:14 

And the WORD was made flesh, and dwelt among us,

(and we beheld His+  Glory,

the Glory as of the Only-Begotten of THE FATHER,)

full of Grace and Truth.

The Apostle Paul told us in Galatians that the masculine, singular “Seed” of Abraham in Genesis 22:18 is CHRIST.   

The prophecy in Genesis 22:18, however, has a SECOND fulfillment, which is ALSO going to turn the world upside down !   

YES !

“All the nations of the earth” WILL be blessed AGAIN . . . at His+ SECOND ADVENT,  the Second Coming of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST. 

And of His+ Kingdom there shall be NO end.
