CHRISTMAS DAY 2023 ~ FOR Unto US a CHILD+ is BORN , Unto US, a SON+ is GIVEN

  

^{ISAIAH 9:6}  For unto us a CHILD+ is born, unto us a SON+ is given: and the government shall be upon His+ Shoulder: and His+ Name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty GOD, The Everlasting FATHER, The PRINCE+ of Peace. 

       A CHILD+ is born for us from His+ earthly Mother, but     The Only-Begotten SON+ of GOD is given to us by   Our Heavenly FATHER.

^{LUKE 2:11}  For unto you is born this day in the City of David a SAVIOR+, Which is CHRIST THE LORD. 

       … Who+ is the BREAD+ of LIFE, born in Beth-    Lehem, The House of Bread.

The 2023 CHRISTMAS SIGN ~ The SIGN+ of the Times

We no longer need a Heavenly Host to tell us the SIGN+ of the Times;

HE+ has already been given to us.

What have we done with that Divine, Celestial SIGN+  

this Christmas ?

ADVENT 2023 #5 ~ Our GREATEST CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE

HAVE YOU ENTERED INTO  THAT GREAT EXCHANGE ?

 His+ Peace for your problems  . . . His+ Healing for your hurt . . . His+ Wholeness for your broken parts. . .  His+ JOY for your sorrow . . .

 His+ JOY-FILLED BIRTH into human form BROUGHT to us --- YES , to you, to me --- His+ PEACE, His+ HEALING, His+ WHOLENESS, and His+ ABUNDANT JOY. 

 That is why countless MYRIADS of the Heavenly Host appeared,  praising GOD and saying , “GLORY TO GOD in the HIGHEST and PEACE , GOODWILL toward MEN ! “

This world is TEMPORARY.  Yet  distress  seems extremely long-lasting and SO FULL OF HURT as we try so hard to control things for our own happiness.

I+ AM COME a LIGHT into the World . . . John 12:46

I+ am come a LIGHT into the world,

that whosoever believeth on ME+

should not abide in darkness.

 What ACTUALLY happened on the Day of Pentecost ?

To find out, we must go to the GREEK BYZANTINE manuscripts and read this passage literally, word for word. 

That means we must take the Greek words at face value with their given definitions.  That is, we must clear away the interpretations  of the translators and rely upon just the simple translation of the words.   

WHAT Were the FIVE GIFTS The LORD JESUS CHRIST Gave us on ASCENSION DAY ?

 

 WHY Is CHRIST’S ASCENSION SO IMPORTANT to us TODAY ?

What happened at His+ ASCENSION 

that had NEVER happened

before  HE+ returned to THE FATHER

in His+ Wounded, Slain, Buried, Resurrected, and Glorified Body ?

The LORD JESUS CHRIST’S FIRST Triumphant Entry into Jerusalem began with glorious praises filling the air.

 But it ended in His+ weeping over Jerusalem.  GOD’S Ancient people refused to be set free from sin, hell, and the grave.

However, there is coming a DAY like No Other Day in which HIS+ TRIUMPH will be completed !

and it is just beyond my ability to comprehend such suffering and amazing love that kept HIM+ on track,

Though HE+ were a SON+,

yet learned HE+ obedience

DARKNESS AT NOON

This series of Lenten / Passover Meditations will reflect the 6th Hour Prayer ( noon ) . Today, many liturgical churches continue to observe these ancient prayer hours.  They were based upon the prayer hours in the Temple in Jerusalem.

The 6th Hour Prayer occurred at the same time that the earth was darkened at Noon, on the day The LORD JESUS was Crucified.

We remember the scourging HE+ unjustly received from Pilate’s hand . . . after being mocked, slapped, and beaten by the Temple guard . . . and then Herod’s men . . . and then by the Roman soldiers, giving His+ back to the smiters  and His+ cheeks to them that plucked out the hair.
