Passover Meditation #16 for the Lenten Season 2012

~ ~ ~  The Door of the Cross ~ ~ ~

COME unto ME+,

all ye that labor

and are heavy laden,

and I+ will give you rest.

Take My+ Yoke upon you

and learn of ME+;

for I+ am meek and lowly of heart:

and ye shall find rest

unto your souls.

For My+ Yoke is easy,

and My+ burden Light.

Matthew 11:28-30

HEADSTRONG... an Ugly Word

We put ourselves in harm's way when headstrong . We can know for sure that we are definitely OUT of the LORD'S Will when we are headstrong.  We are moving in DIRECT OPPOSITION to HIM+ when we are moving headstrongly  through life, in our decisions, in our  attitudes. We don't even have to guess if we are doing right or wrong: we are doing wrong.

Do not confuse determination with headstrong. Be determined to move AWAY from being headstrong. Instead, be unshakably determined to move towards ME+ ... and make your unruly flesh and uncontrollable mind MIND ME+ . You will have to deal with yourself as a naughty child.

Operating in a headstrong manner moves you ALWAYS AWAY from ME+. 

I+ was not headstrong.  I+ was determined to do My+ FATHER'S WILL, not My+ own.  I+ will tell you this:

ALL headstrong paths are wrong...

from secret thoughts and accusations

through words spoken in haste,

in anger, and in jest ...

through actions. 

Sanctify you thoughts. Sanctify your words. Be not headstrong, My+ Child. 

NO... you cannot do something because "other Christians" are doing it. I+, I+ AM your Example+ ... not others.

So forsake your headstrongness. Teach your children to forsake their headstrong ways... by both word and example.

COME ! Be like ME+

It takes strength to turn a roaring bull from its path. You are like that bull.

Do you think

it is easy

to be lowly

and meek

?

.

It takes strength to be lowly and meek... more strength than what you've got.  This is one of the hardest battles you will ever fight because the ENEMY IS WITHIN; you have to fight against yourself. But, be of good cheer: I+ will help you !

Find your strength

in ME+.

Passover Meditation # 14 for the Lenten Season 2012

~  ~  ~  The Door of the Cross ~  ~  ~

Storms prevented posting on time but BLESS GOD, HE+ kept them from hurting us... just as HE+ said HE+ would do.

The one eating
of My+  flesh

and drinking of  My+ Blood

has Eternal Life

and I+,

I+

will raise him up at the Last Day.

The Greek is pointed. The eating and drinking activities remain IN THE PRESENT and are CONTINUOUS, REPEATED, ON-GOING actions.

.

The person continuously joining Our LORD at the table of His+ death --- doing the same things HE+ does: dying to Self to bring Life unto this world --- is doing so IN THE PRESENT.

.

There is no pot of manna that can be kept from yesterday’s meal; it will turn wormy and putrid. (See Ex. 16:20).

.

Likewise, there is no Living Bread that is effective from yesterday; you must join HIM+ anew every day at the cross … in order for you to have Life.

.

And daily, then, you will taste a portion of that Eternal Life --- also in the present tense --- that is promised.

.

Remember: CHRIST’S words here have NO past tense. It is not a one-time-then-finished activity. It is on-going every day.

.

Meet HIM+ at the table of HIS+ death. Join HIM+ in the fellowship of His+ sufferings, and you will have Life… and Life abundantly.

.

Just like HE+ said.

[ PS… If you are not suffering for CHRIST in the Persecuted Church, then join HIM+ “ in the fellowship of His+ suffering” by disciplining yourself with daily prayer-closet prayer times, fasting days, and seasons of Holy Silence.

.

Do SOMETHING.

.

Practice daily denying yourself pleasures, entertainments, and self-indulgences. Walk instead of nap, eat rice and beans instead of pizza’s and steak, drink water instead of cola’s, tea or coffee. If you do such denials already, then ask HIM+ what other things you can do to practice putting Self to death in these areas.

.

Do SOMETHING.
.

Dress somberly instead of like a flower-lily. Sisters, cover your heads and drop your eyes and watch your tone of voice in the home.

.

Endeavor to keep a cheerful spirit for The LORD'S sake. 

.

Attempt to keep the prayer stations even for 5 minutes and TEACH the youngsters at home to do the same. It will not upset your "important" schedule to at least read and recite a Psalm outloud at 9 a.m., noon, and 3 p.m.

.

Do SOMETHING.

.

Brothers, cover your bodies just as well and vest up. Watch your slang ( and GOD forbid, filthy talk or jesting ) when with your buddies and your attitudes in the home, likewise. Take that tongue to the cross and issue hearty thanksgivings instead of complaints. 

.

Daily share with your offspring about The LORD, what HE+'s done for you, and question them about what HE+'s shown them every day. Then they will realize it is important to Dad; it must be important to GOD, also.

.

Do SOMETHING.

.

Do SOMETHING that curbs your desire to look cute to the world and acceptable to conservative America. Your dress and demeanor should give a silent VISIBLE witness that you are of CHRIST and NOT of this world so that everyone seeing you must receive a witness for CHRIST... whether he likes it or not. 

.

Do SOMETHING to show which side you are on.

Do SOMETHING, both private and public.

.

Do SOMETHING

simply for the sake

of The LORD...

to show HIM+

you love HIM+.

Then JESUS said

unto them,

Verily, Verily I+ say

unto you,

Except ye eat the flesh of the SON+ of Man

and drink His+ Blood,

ye have no Life in you.

John 6:53

You have no life in you.

Just being born, you are born through the first Adam. You have the first Adam's ruined nature, which is to serve Self.  You will receive LIES in order to serve Self, like Adam did, like Eve did: you cannot help it, you will.

You will tell lies and blame others, like Adam did, like Eve did.

You will pursue fantasies and illusions all of your life, trying to fill yourself with Life... but they will all be lies. 

You MUST be born into the Second Adam, if you want Life.

Through CHRIST, the Second Adam, you must be re-born in order to partake of the Body and Blood of CHRIST. This is a great mystery.  The Bread and Wine are infused by the HOLY SPIRIT and thus sanctified.

You cannot lie to HIM+... HE+ knows what you eat and drink. Like the time that woman in the crowd who touched HIM+ in faith and virtue went out of HIM+ , 

HE+ knew. 

Yes, HE+ stopped immediately to talk to the one in all that crowd who had reached out to HIM+. 

HE+ knew.

You have NO CHOICE... if you want Eternal LIFE. 

.

If you refuse to choose Eternal Llife, then know this: you ARE choosing a constant eternal death that goes on and on in the Lake of Fire.  It, too, never ceases ...   just like Eternity with CHRIST never ends. 

.

Do not be tricked by satan who tricked Eve.

Do not be tricked by satan who tricked Adam. 

Do not be tricked by the same lies to serve Self.

Yes, your existence will not cease in death.  You will indeed be called to Judgment Day to find out that your worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched in the Lake of Fire...  forever. 

Just like

The LORD JESUS

said.

this is the Will

of the ONE WHO

has sent ME+,

that everyone

seeing the SON+

and believing,

trusting into HIM+

should have

Everlasing Life:

and I+ Will

raise him up

at the Last Day.

Everlasting LIFE versus the Everlasting DEATH --- that Second DEATH ! Yes, there is a Lake of Fire recorded in Revelation 20:14. Who is cast alive into that burning, rolling Lake of Fire?

1.  the beast - Rev. 19:20 2.
2.  the false prophet - Rev. 19:20
3.  the devil ...after 1000 years of being tied up in the abyss and STILL NOT LEARNING HIS LESSON - Rev. 20:7 and 10
4. Death - Rev. 20:14
5. Hell [ Hades ] - Rev. 20:14
6. ANYONE ELSE NOT FOUND HAVING THEIR NAMES WRITTEN IN THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE - Rev. 20:15

Now, just who are these people who are not found written in the LAMB'S Book of Life? These are described in Rev. 20: 12 and 13 .

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before GOD:

and the books were opened : 

and another book was opened, which is the book of life: 

and the dead were judged out of those things

which were written in the books,

according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead

which were in it;

and death and hell delivered up the dead

which were in them;

and they were judged

every man

according to their works.

Now, just who were the people who were NOT included in verses 12, 13, and 15... and thus, WERE FOUND written in the LAMB'S Book of Life ? (Rev. 21:27)

• After the WORD+ of GOD arrived with His+ Heavenly armies and fought and WON THE BATTLE against the beast and the armies of the kings of the earth....
• and, after the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and satan, was bound and cast into the bottomless pit for 1000 years... 

THEN...

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were

• beheaded for the witness of JESUS, and for the Word of GOD, and
• which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image,
• neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands;

and they lived and reigned

with CHRIST a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Blessed and holy is he

that hath part in the first resurrection:

.

on such the second death hath no power,

.

but they shall be priests of GOD and of CHRIST,

and shall reign with him a thousand years.

So you see,

DEATH ITSELF

is NOT THE FINAL END

for anyone's soul !

 

Each and every person WILL face something ELSE AFTER DEATH. Each and every person WILL either be:

• resurrected
• receive glorified bodies, and
• join CHRIST as HE+ is returning to reclaim the earth, and
• reign with CHRIST as a Kingdom of Priests upon this earth

~  OR ~

 

called before GOD and,

• judged for doing bad works,
• judged because his name was NOT FOUND in the LAMB'S Book of Life, 
• and then face the SECOND DEATH
• and cast into of the Lake of Burning Fire.

Therefore, let us come boldly unto the Throne of GRACE, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

this is the Will

of The FATHER having sent ME+,

which HE

hath given ME+,

I+ shall not lose

any of it,

but shall raise it up

in the Last Day.

Passover Meditation #6 for the Lenten Season 2012

~ ~ ~ The Door of the Cross ~ ~ ~

For I+ have come down out of Heaven, Not that I+ should My+ Will, but the Will of the ONE Who has sent ME+.

John 6:38 

How great The FATHER'S love ! How greatly The SON+ loves HIS+ FATHER! Out of that great love for each other, a Will is formed --- the determined counsel of BOTH -- agreed upon to bring mankind INTO THAT SHARED LOVE !

Come into Our Love; be nestled there.

Then you, too, will be enabled to do My+ Will in all manner of hard situations which I+ call you to embrace.

Be nestled in the Love that is between My+ FATHER and Myself+. Then you will be able to forgive, to pick up the Cross as I+ direct you, to face rejection and hostility for My+ Name's sake, and to further the Kingdom of GOD.

Do not be surprised when men cast out your name as evil, for they have cast Mine+ out also. You will not be crushed nor forsaken when you do My+ Will...  if you stay nestled in the Love that is between My+ FATHER and Myself+.

Oh, the perfect assurance that despite our many mistakes, The LORD JESUS will never cast out the one coming to HIM+... no, never.

I+ always do My+ FATHER'S will. HE loves mankind and gives mankind to ME+.  The man who lives his life continually coming to ME+ in every contingency, every instance, I+ will keep by My+ side... for that is where the one coming really wants to be.

Do you want to be

continually by My+ side ?

There is a place waiting for you 

beside ME+

 because...

I+ miss you

when you're not there.

Do you believe ME+ ?

But I+ said unto you,
that ye also have seen ME+,
and believe not. John 6: 36

The message is simple:

You all have perceived that I+ am food for your souls--- but yet you refused to entrust unto ME+  all areas of your feeble little life.  I+ am capable of meeting your every need: you even know that.

Yet, you cling on to your life, afraid that I+ won't help you, afraid that I+ won't provide for you, afraid that I+ will turn a deaf ear to your call.

I+ will never turn a deaf ear to your call if you DON'T TURN A DEAF EAR TO MINE.

Entrust your life to ME+... and then COME and follow ME+. Let ME+ put you into the REAL work of the Kingdom of GOD. Believe ME+.

I+, 

I+ AM

the Bread of Life;

the one coming to ME+

not ever will hunger,

and the one believing into ME+

not ever will thirst.

The Greek is written in a peculiar way here in this verse. The LORD  repeats  Himself+, which is done to gain and hold the focus of the listener onto an important truth: HE+ actually IS  Life-giving Nourishment; none other has this capacity.  Furthermore, not only will the one coming unto HIM+ not ever will hunger but also, he will not ever thirst!  

Now, how can this be ? Even spiritually-minded believers can become dried twigs, dried fence posts, seared grass.

The Answer is in ME+, My+ Children. You be the "one coming"...

Live your life always , ever MOVING TOWARDS ME+. 

Move towards ME+ when happy. Move towards ME+ when crying, when rejected, when confused, when frustrated, when angry, hurt and downcast.

I+ will heal your wrong ways and bear your griefs and carry your sorrows. I+ will lead you in the Right Way+... because I+ , I+ AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh to The FATHER except by ME+. 

Move, always move towards ME+, no matter what.

Move towards ME+

... and I+ will move

towards you!

    JESUS answered them and said, Verily, verily, I+ say unto you, Ye seek ME+, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.  

Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto Everlasting Life, which the SON+ of MAN shall give unto you: for HIM+ hath GOD the FATHER sealed. John 6: 26 and 27.

You do not pursue ME+

-- the First and the Last,
Who+ was dead and IS ALIVE--

because you see supernatural works

that should draw you

upward

toward the Heavenlies,

toward Spiritural Life,

towards Who+ I+ am.

I+

-- I+, JESUS,

SON+ of The LIVING GOD,

Who+ trieth

the hearts and minds--

tell you that you seek ME+

because I+ help you

in pursuit of your own happiness.

You pursue ME+

because I+ make

your way easier.

.

But I+

the Keys of hell and death ---

tell you to

STOP FOCUSING

UPON THINGS

NOT PROFITABLE

for you in Eternity.

Perishable things WILL perish.

from pursuit of the perishable

for I+ will give you rest...

the only rest available

for you.
