Verily, verily, I+ say unto you,
Except a corn of wheat
fall into the ground and die,
it abideth alone:
but if it die,
it bringeth forth much fruit.

The LORD JESUS knew HE+ was the Bread of Life, the true Manna sent down from Heaven.
HE+ knew HE+ was the Living Bread that would sustain us in Life.
Furthermore, HE+ was the ONLY Bread given that COULD nourish the Flock of GOD.
HE+ tried to plant in His+ Followers seeds of Truth to prepare them for the shock of His+ Crucifixion.
After all, they DID believe whole-heartedly that JESUS CHRIST was the Living, Incarnate SON+ of GOD, the MESSIAH+ . . .
Who+ would live forever.
Resurrection was TOTALLY out of their scope of human experience even though they saw His+ Resurrection Power when HE+ raised Lazarus from the dead.
The LORD JESUS had TOTAL AUTHORITY OVER DEATH . . .
but they thought that HE+ HIMSELF+ could never die.
DEATH
--- for the Incarnate SON+ of GOD ---
was totally UN-thinkable to them.
If HE+ could be killed, what hope had they, mere human men ?
They simply could not envision HIS+ conquering death, hell, and the grave.
The LORD JESUS knew HE+
would ACCOMPLISH the
WORK HE+ came to do.
FURTHERMORE . . .
HE+ would conquer
DEATH
by dying !
And Death and Hell would be thrown into the LAKE of FIRE !
Revelation 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the LAKE OF FIRE.
This is the SECOND DEATH.

HE+ WON !
+ + +
His+ shocked Followers --- shocked by His+ death , shocked again by His+ Resurrection 3 days and nights later --- finally recovered deliciously from their shock.
They lived in JOY , tasting REAL VICTORY over death in the TRIUMPH of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Yes, we have A Divine Feast set before us because :
. . . CHRIST our PASSOVER
is Sacrificed for us !

Therefore, let us keep the feast. Not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened Bread of purity and truth. I CORINTHIANS 5: 7- 8
CHRIST being raised from the dead dieth NO MORE; Death hath NO MORE dominion over HIM+. For in that HE+ died, HE+ died unto sin once. But in that HE+ liveth, HE+ liveth unto GOD.
Likewise, reckon ye also yourselves to be DEAD INDEED UNTO SIN, but alive unto GOD through JESUS CHRIST our LORD . ROMANS 6: 9–11

Dear Heavenly FATHER,
YES, I receive Your Bless-ed SON’S+ Body as the Living BREAD of LIFE.
HE+ alone is my sustenance.
Help me to purge out my old leaven and to walk with HIM+ in purity and righteousness.
Open my eyes that I may see
what needs to be placed
on the Altar for YOU.
In the name of JESUS CHRIST, the Precious PASSOVER LAMB+ Who+ died for me, I pray. Amen
