LENTEN SEASON 2025 ~ SAVIOUR+ of The World ~ Isaiah 53:1-B

 

Isaiah 53:1

Who hath believed our report?

to whom is the Arm of the LORD revealed?

                             

The ARM of The LORD is revealed to those who BELIEVE HE+ is and is a rewarder of those who diligently trust in HIM+.

       But without faith it is impossible to please HIM: for he that cometh to GOD must believe that HE is and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM.    Hebrews 11:6  

 How do we LEARN to trust HIM+ with our lives ?

In CHRIST, we do things differently. Much differently than how the world does things.

The world does not love its enemies. Rather, no, the world BEATS  upon its enemies.

It is foolishness in the eyes of the world to DO GOOD to someone who mistreats us. 

CHRIST JESUS teaches us to FOLLOW HIS+ EXAMPLE and forgive, doing good right from the start … as soon as the mistreatment occurs.

The Arm of The LORD is not revealed to the worldlings.

HE+ does not deliver them; they are on their own to beat back the enemy and IF THEY DO, they  live with a nagging, guilty conscience all of their days.

The ARM of the LORD is revealed and  DELIVERS those who will obey The LORD JESUS CHRIST in those hard situations.

Whom do you want to fight for you ?

Your weakened, human arm of flesh . . .   or His+ Divine Arm ?

Let us pray:

I’m sorry, LORD JESUS, that I have taken matters into my own hand and held attitudes that were not worthy of YOU+.

Help me to forgive and return GOOD for evil… even in my thinking.

Help me to stop my angry heart and the angry words that I think and sometimes say.

Help me to  repent and then, PRAY DILIGENTLY for those who slight me, insult me, degrade me, and hurt me.

I yield my angry passions unto YOU+, LORD JESUS, Who+ loved me while I was yet a sinner … when I hurt YOU+ !

Thank YOU+ for forgiving me. Cleanse me of my fighting spirit. I repent and renounce that spirit. I yield my protection unto YOU+, LORD JESUS.

Thanks be to GOD Who giveth us the Victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST ! ^{1 Corinthians 15:57} Amen and Amen.
