In the beginning was The WORD+
John 1:1
THE WORD+ . . . not just “a” word, but a definite,
specific WORD+ is in focus here. This WORD+, this LOGOS+, was continuously BEING , continually existing at
the first of all time, TIME as we know it.
THE LOGOS+ of GOD is that part of The ELOHIM which
embodies the mind, thought, will, and character of
The ELOHIM. As such, The LOGOS+ never
was and never is and never could be separated from GOD, from The ELOHIM.
This marvelous LOGOS+ of GOD has one Divine Goal:
to reveal WHO The ELOHIM
is.
The LOGOS+ has one agreed-upon purpose: to reveal
the true character of Our HOLY Heavenly FATHER to the human race.
Earlier in time but after creation, the character
of The ELOHIM was revealed at the altar of sacrifices to which HE called the
Ancient Patriarchs.
HE spoke to Cain about the insufficiency of his
sacrifice which was unacceptable to The ELOHIM, thus revealing the integrity of
The LORD YHWH . That same integrity was required of Cain.
HE revealed HIS character in the testing of
Abraham who was commanded to offer up Isaac, his only son of the divine
promise.
The character of The LORD YHWH never changes; HE
did not EVER require human sacrifices. In Abraham’s testing, the character of
The ELOHIM demonstrated HIS great loyalty to the human race, as well as HIS
requirement for us to be
as loyal to HIM as HE is
to us.
After that, HIS character was revealed within The Law.
HIS standards of behavior and standards of
holiness were revealed. HE set the standard for UNblemished sacrifices to be
made to cover sin.
That was the only way we could be “at one” with HIM. Because HE required us to be “at one” with HIM, HE HIMSELF established the pattern which was acceptable to HIM.
This pattern enabled
us to enter into a COVENANT with HIM, a
holy covenant, a covenant in which we did not deserve to partake.
But now, at the Time Appointed by The FATHER, The
ELOHIM sent forth The LOGOS+ of GOD to reveal HIS Divine Character through
The SONSHIP+ of JESUS CHRIST . . .
But when the fulness of the time was come,GOD sent forth HIS SON+, made of a woman, made under The Law,Galatians 4:4
Under the Anointing of The HOLY SPIRIT, what did
the Apostle Paul tell us was the Divine Purpose of GOD sending forth HIS SON+,
HIS LOGOS+, HIS WORD+ ?
To redeem them that were under The Law,
that we might receive
the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, GOD hath sent forth the SPIRIT of HIS
SON+ into your hearts, crying, ABBA!
FATHER !
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, thenan heir of GOD through CHRIST.
Galatians 4:5-7
So we see clearly not only the purpose, but the
character of GOD, YHWH, The ELOHIM. HIS character is revealed in HIS purpose
here.
HE formed us in HIS
likeness and image
to be close to HIM.
After sin entered and broke that closeness, HE still
wanted the human race to be close to HIM… minus the sin, of course,
because sinful man would be slain in the presence of HIS Holiness.
In HIS great love for WHO HE CREATED from dust, HE
made a way for us to be rid of our sin and re-enter into that close communion
with HIM, The FATHER ,YHWH.
The ELOHIM provided it: The FATHER sent forth The
SPIRIT which came to us through JESUS CHRIST, The SON+ . So now we have the
right to call HIM “FATHER !”
A Right The FATHER gave to
us HIMSELF
through JESUS.
Thus, we see HIS character: The FATHER is absolutely DETERMINED: HE would rather lose
us for all eternity separated from HIMSELF . . . if we refuse that one way HE
provided for us through JESUS CHRIST to enter into a living, loving, close communion with HIM, The
FATHER.
HIS character: HE holds fast the line of Holiness;
no sinful creature comes into HIS presence. HE knows every word before we speak
it. Psalm 139.
HIS character: HE is “FATHER”, so HE alone has the
right to determine and run HIS household, HIS way.
HIS character: HE sets the standards. HE
establishes the rules. HIS WORD+ is “law” .
Let us Pray:
HOLY FATHER, forgive us for serving YOU mechanically without love.
Forgive us for an obedience based on duty instead of being obedient-BECAUSE-we-love- YOU.
O FATHER, we DO love to be close to YOU! YOU indeed are LIFE !
Forgive us for being distracted by our flesh, our
temporal interests, our daily duties,
and continual lack of quietness.
We love YOUR Holy character, O FATHER ! It is a
place of rest for us because we can trust that YOU mean what YOU say. That it is ever
true.
YOUR WORD+ is ever trust-worthy; help us to plant
YOUR WORD+ , Your Divine LOGOS+, Your character into our hearts.
This we pray through the ONLY name given among men
whereby we must be Saved, The LORD JESUS CHRIST,
Who+ faithfully reveals the character of GOD our FATHER. Amen.

If you have seen ME+,
you have seen The FATHER. . .
JESUS saith unto him, Have I+ been so long time with you,
and yet hast thou not known ME, Philip?
He that hath seen ME+
hath seen THE
FATHER;
and how sayest thou then, Show us THE FATHER?
