WHY All the MONSTER Storms ?

WHY All the Monster  Storms ?

The LORD is not slack concerning HIS+ promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, 

NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH,

BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE. 

2 Peter 3:9

THIS IS “WHY” the storms come: to bring us to REPENTANCE.

HE+ allows these powerful storms to engulf the human race SO THAT some may become AWARE of HIM+  . . . that HE+ is, that HE+ is totally and  ultimately in control in the end, and that HE+ alone has control over human life.

These massive, deadly, and destructive storms come upon us so that men will listen to HIM+ and turn their heart unto REPENTANCE.

When things are going well, few care about The LORD. Few notice HIS+ Existence. Even fewer care about what HE+ says.

But when death and destruction hit, then people suddenly become FULLY AWARE of HIS+ power and might. Suddenly, HE+ has their full, un-adulterated attention.

Their attention is intense, intensified by RAW FEAR. Suddenly EVERY person becomes aware of the MIGHT and POWER of The LORD . . .  and the total helplessness of man. 

Man cannot add one cubit to his stature, Matthew 6:27. Man cannot change one hair to be white instead of black. Matthew 5:36

The ILLUSION of the power of man is BROKEN in the face of these monster storms.

The LORD allows the humbling of man through death, destruction, and sorrow for ONE reason: to bring man to HIS+ Salvation, through the only means available:  REPENTANCE.

For HE+ doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men. Lamentations 3:33

HE+ allows the storms  because HE+ KNOWS SOMETHING MAN DOES NOT KNOW :

But the . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

·        fearful,

·        and unbelieving,

·        and the abominable,

·        and murderers,

·        and fornicators (Gk),

·        and sorcerers,

·        and idolaters,

·        and all liars,

shall have their part

in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:

which is the second death.

Revelation 21:8

But the Day of The LORD

will come as a thief in the night;

in the which the Heavens shall pass away with a great noise,

and the elements shall melt with fervent heat,

the earth also and the works that are therein

shall be burned up.

Revelation 20:6

Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of GOD AND OF CHRIST, and shall reign with HIM+ a thousand years.
