ADVENT # 10 ~ NO CESSATION OF LIFE !

In HIM+ was Life; and the Life was the Light of men.

John 1:4

ἐν αὐτῷ ζωὴ ἦν καὶ ἡ ζωὴ ἦν τὸ φῶς τῶν ἀνθρώπων

Translated literally: 

In HIM+, LIFE was continuously being, and furthermore,

the LIFE  was continuously being the LIGHT of men.

What an astounding ABSOLUTE ! 

What an absolute JOY, as well !

   

The TRUTH of this verse bolsters our faith. 

In The LORD JESUS CHRIST, Life itself never ends; it is continually abounding in HIM+. 

If we live in CHRIST, we CONTINUALLY have Life.

If we die IN CHRIST, we CONTINUALLY have Life !

There is no break, NO CESSATION OF LIFE , when our soul and spirit transition into Eternity with CHRIST.

Also an absolute, unchanging Truth is this:  that same LIFE was and is continually being the LIGHT of men.

This marvelous LIGHT is how we see !

It is how we comprehend all things, all events. In HIS Light, Scripture says, we SEE Light !

For with THEE is the Fountain of Life;

IN THY LIGHT SHALL WE SEE LIGHT.

Psalm 36:9

Indeed, we CANNOT ,  are not able,  to see Light without HIS Light.

This marvelous gift, this unique LIGHT of GOD comes to us  only one way: through our LORD and SAVIOR+ JESUS CHRIST.

Remember: The LORD JESUS said: 

John 9:5

As long as I+ am in the world,

 I + am the Light of the world.

The Coming of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST brought Life and Light. To all who will receive HIM+ as LORD of their life, His+ Life abounds in them. 

His+ Light guides their way; they are no longer lost. They are no longer disoriented. They can see clearly where to step because THAT LIGHT of CHRIST is alive and living with them now. 

And in the moment of death, there is NO DARKNESS. Life and Light continues on with CHRIST. . . but only for those who were ALIVE in CHRIST while here on earth.

Let us Pray: 

Precious LORD JESUS, thank YOU+ for Coming to earth. 

Thank YOU+ for bringing Your+ unending Life to us.  O, how we thank YOU+ for keeping our soul and spirit ALIVE with YOU+, whether we live or sleep in JESUS.

Thank YOU+ for giving us LIGHT , light that cheers in the inner man, light that shows us where to step, light which is alive and glowing. 

LIGHT which never leaves us.

Thank YOU+, Precious SAVIOR+, for Your+ greatly-desired Coming again, to once again bring Your+ LIVING LIGHT back to planet earth in Your+ Person . . . the ONE+ Who+ can never die again.

Oh, how we await that day ! 

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound;

They shall walk, O LORD, in the LIGHT of Thy+ countenance !
