ADVENT #13 ~ WHO MADE HIM+ MANIFEST in order to DESTROY the works of the devil ?

For this purpose The SON+ OF GOD was manifested, that HE+ might destroy the works of the devil.

From: Joseph Thayer’s Lexicon, pg 648; Strong’s #  5319. This verb in this verse is Verb-Indicative-Aorist-Passive.

Passive ( “was manifested” )  means that The SUBJECT of this sentence was NOT doing the action; the subject, JESUS CHRIST, was receiving the action.

So . .  . WHO was doing the action ? 

WHO was making "manifest"  
The LORD JESUS CHRIST  unto us ? 

WHO brought about 

His+ BEING MADE EVIDENT to mankind, to all beings visible and invisible, with signs and wonders following ?

WHO was making The LORD JESUS CHRIST to be

• perceived by the senses of mankind,

• easily understood or recognized by human beings,

•   and to be known . . . HIM+ being what has been hidden or unknown to mankind in times past ? 

 LET us Check our Authority, to find out WHO made The LORD JESUS manifest to destroy the works of the devil.

John 3:17

For GOD sent not HIS SON+ into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through HIM+ might be saved.

Acts 3:26

Unto you first GOD, having raised up HIS SON+ JESUS, sent HIM+ to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

Galatians 4:4

But when the fulness of the time was come, GOD sent forth HIS SON+, made of a woman, made under the Law,

In this was manifested the love of GOD toward us, because that GOD sent HIS Only-Begotten SON+ into the world, that we might live through HIM+.

Herein is love, not that we loved GOD, but that HE loved us, and sent HIS SON+ to be the propitiation [ divine covering ]

for our sins.

Yes, our Heavenly FATHER sent HIS ETERNAL SON+ by means of Their Mutual HOLY SPIRIT to come to earth for HIS purposes.

Let us Pray: 

Dear Heavenly FATHER, YOU brought forth Your Only-Begotten SON+ from Your Bosom in order to reveal to us humans WHO YOU are. 

Your SON+ was the Carrier of Your Essence, Your Character to us. 

HE+ was perceived by us, handled by us, watched by us , and we heard His+ Voice. We saw His+ Reasoning, but we did not comprehend it very much. 

HE+ was focused totally upon YOU. HE+ did not waver in His+ Witness for YOU to mankind 

. . . NOR DID HE+ WAVER in HIS+ WITNESS to the powers of darkness which UNENDINGLY assailed His+ earthly existence. 

O LORD, thank YOU for giving us Your SON+ in a way we could receive HIM+, in a way we could understand, in a way we could perceive HIM+ as being real human flesh,   just like we are. 

Help us, dear Heavenly FATHER, to go and do likewise. 


Help us to focus totally upon Your SON+ JESUS so that others may see YOU . . . for that is what HE+ did. 

Assist us to witness as well to the unseen beings that dog our path and which dog everyone’s path, nipping and biting and ripping as they will. 

We cannot see “them”, but they can PERCEIVE the heat of YOUR POWER        . . . when they meet someone walking in The SPIRIT, yielded to Your SON+. 

We yield ourselves to YOU in order that YOU may make manifest Your SON+ JESUS in us, in order that the world may see YOU, O FATHER. 

This we pray to YOU, O FATHER,  in the Life-Giving Name of our LORD and SAVIOR, JESUS the CHRIST, through the unction of The HOLY SPIRIT.  Amen.
