LENTEN SEASON 2025 ~ We Turned to his own way ~ Isaiah 53:6b Have

 

 All we like sheep have gone astray;

we have turned every one to his own way;

and THE LORD hath laid on HIM+

 the iniquity of us all.

Turned to his own way.

That’s the problem, isn’t it ?

 Instead of turning to The LORD JESUS, we turn to our Self nature for comfort . . . which leads to Self-pity, bitterness, anger . . . which lead to indulgences . . . which lead to additions of every kind and sort. 

Some DO appear normal and healthy, but yet, they are addictions.

What do addictions do for our lives ?

ADDICTIONS MAKE DEMONIC STRONG-HOLDS, even if the addictions are “wholesome” in appearance.

We turn to our “comfort” foods … or drinks.

We turn to our pets … and gather more strays than we ought to .

We turn to reading, or studying, or TV , or CD’s and DVD's, or the Internet to assuage our hurts and calm our upsetnesses.

We are cleverly doing ALL this

 instead of turning

our hurts and disappointments

over to The LORD JESUS.

What is our excuse for avoiding HIM+ ?

Don’t we WANT to be healed ?

Yes, we do want that healing.

But after “surgery”, the healing comes through PAIN, the pain of rehabilitation.

This is what occurs in our hearts, just like in our physical man.

We AVOID the Healing of our Hearts through The LORD JESUS  

because it always involves PAIN. 

QUICK, Intense pain that wrenches our insides.

The LORD JESUS knows what HE+ is doing when HE+ removes that wrong thing, that sin-scar, which is hurting us and preventing us from becoming Whole Again in JESUS.

Our goal is to AVOID PAIN.

HIS+ goal is to pull the abscessed stronghold OUT of us.

LET us turn back to The LORD JESUS CHRIST in our PAIN and let HIM+ remove it from our hearts.

We “turn back” through the avenue called Repentance.

HE+ will clean out the abscess and cover it with the Balm+ of Gilead: His+ BODY and His+ BLOOD.… setting the Captive free !

Praising HIM+ and Rejoicing in HIM+

forever and ever, AMEN !

GLORY be to THE ELOHIM,

--- THE FATHER, SON+, and HOLY SPIRIT ---

WHO formed us in Their image;

And to HIS Beloved SON+, JESUS CHRIST,

Who+ rescued us from our fallen nature;

And to Their Divine, Bless-ed HOLY SPIRIT,

Which turns us back to HIM+

Who+ faces the PAIN with us

as HE+ removes it forever. 

 

 

 

LENTEN SEASON 2025 ~ GONE ASTRAY ~ Isaiah 53:6a

 

 All we like sheep have gone astray;

we have turned every one to his own way;

and THE LORD hath laid on HIM+

 the iniquity of us all.

GONE ASTRAY. . .

Dreadful words ! Dreadful concept !

Those two words bring a shudder into our soul, a heaviness into our heart.

Whether it be a son or a daughter, a husband or a wife, a sister or a brother, or even a father or a mother… O  terrible thought ! … the straying one causes immense grief to every person connected to that person.

A depth of pain awaits us as the valley of suffering becomes our daily walk.

The battle looms before us to bring him or her back into the Right Way of living.

The Prophet Isaiah was slain for declaring this Truth:

ALL of us have gone astray

from following THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.

 

Revelation 1:8  identifies clearly THE ALMIGHTY GOD.

I+ am Alpha and Omega,

the Beginning and the Ending,

saith THE LORD,

which is,

and which was,

and which is to come,

THE ALMIGHTY.

Why does every one of us go astray from THE ALMIGHTY?

Why do we even WANT to go astray ?

Well . . . why do sheep have to be herded, guarded, led , and alas, oftentimes RESCUED ? [Animals kept in domesticated flocks normally DO need to herded .]

People have these same tendencies, only OUR tendencies come from our Adamic nature. Perhaps animals, who do not partake of our human, Adamic nature, are in need of guardianship because of the Adamic curse.

We are BORN with a nature which leads us ASTRAY.

Note this: We never have to teach a little child to be bad; he will soon be hitting and grabbing things and screaming to obtain his Will . . . just naturally.

Unless we teach him NOT to hit, NOT to grab things from others, and NOT to scream to obtain his Will, he will continue to go astray until he is corrected by a force stronger that he is !

That is his fallen, Adamic nature manifesting itself.

We ALL  have that same nature, from the minute we are born until the minute we die. Our own, Adamic nature is our enemy.

The LORD has a BATTLE to shepherd HIS+ Flock and keep  each one  from DESTROYING HIMSELF.  

Let us Pray:

Dear Heavenly FATHER,

Help me to fight my Adamic nature, the Self-serving nature I was born with, which always fights against THEE.

Help me to forsake my ways and my values and embrace THINE, as written in Thy WORD.

O, Write Thy WORD upon my heart that I might not sin against THEE.

Thy WORD is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path that I might not stray away from THEE, O LORD.  

Amen.  

GLORY be to THE ELOHIM,

--- THE FATHER, SON+, and HOLY SPIRIT ---

WHO formed us in Their image;

And to HIS Beloved SON+, JESUS CHRIST,

Who+ rescued us from our fallen nature;

And to Their Divine, Bless-ed HOLY SPIRIT,

Which convicts us

when we have GONE ASTRAY.

 

 

LENTEN SEASON 2025 ~HIS+ Wounding-Our Healing~ Isaiah 53:5d

But HE+ was wounded for our transgressions,

HE+ was bruised for our iniquities:

the chastisement of our peace was upon HIM+;

and

with HIS+ stripes

we are healed.

FURTHERMORE . . . with HIS+ Stripes we are healed. 

WE ARE HEALED.

We are healed of all the wounds the Adamic curse has brought upon us.

AND…. they are MANY.

The human race --- that is, you and I, --- have many wounds from the Adamic curse.

For one, we are BORN serving SELF.

That leads us to wounds of character, the twisting of personality,  the harboring of every perverted spirit known to man.

For another, we have an innate tendency to deal with these wounds through our Adamic nature.

Our Adamic nature leads us directly into the grip of the satan . . . who gleefully wounded us in the first place !

The LORD JESUS heals.

There is NO other Healer. NONE.

HE+ is the “Balm of Gilead” Who+ sets the captives free.

Free from serving Self.

Free from serving the devil.

Free  from  “licking” our wounds of every sort.

JESUS CHRIST is THE ANSWER.

HE+ is the Remedy, the Divine Medicine, for heart wounds.

 

The LORD JESUS CHRIST  is the Healer of our Bodies; make NO mistake about that!   

If HE+ did not bless the medicines we use, they would not work in our bodies.

HE+ blesses our FAITH in HIM+ and thus, the herbal remedies and pharmaceutical medicines are allowed to work.

AT TIMES . . .  HE+ also divinely intervenes in the destruction of our flesh under the curse, and simply grants us a physical healing and for HIS+ own purposes.

ALL Healing comes at a great COST TO HIM+.

Scripture states that BY HIS+ Stripes… HIS+ Wounds … we are healed.

HE+ is beaten to shreds . . . and we who so oftentimes DESERVE that beating … are healed.

AMAZING LOVE so Divine that we can barely grasp it.

And now, O LORD JESUS,

we present unto THEE+

our selves,

our souls,

and our bodies,

to be a holy and Living Sacrifice

unto THEE+,

which is our REASONABLE Service.

Amen and Amen.
