JOY ~ Because We Are CHOSEN   ~ ADVENT 2025 ~ Victory in MESSIAH + JESUS, WHO+ CHOOSES us !

Ye have not chosen ME+ ,

but I+, I⁺ have chosen you,

and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of THE FATHER in My+ Name, HE may give it you.^{JOHN 15:16}

οὐχ ὑμεῖς με ἐξελέξασθε,

ἀλλ᾿ ἐγὼ ἐξελεξάμην ὑμᾶς,

καὶ ἔθηκα ὑμᾶς ἵνα ὑμεῖς ὑπάγητε καὶ καρπὸν φέρητε,

καὶ ὁ καρπὸς ὑμῶν μένῃ,

ἵνα ὅ τι ἂν αἰτήσητε τὸν πατέρα ἐν τῷ ὀνόματί μου,

δῷ ὑμῖν. 

The LORD JESUS CHRIST did something when HE+ walked among men: HE+ chose out persons to follow HIM+.

HE+ did not over-ride their will; rather, JESUS knew their hearts.

Look at Matthew, the tax-collector. Matthew ate and drank with the publicans, the other tax-collectors, the secular, worldly folk, not the “religious” Temple keepers of Torah-Law.

YET… the minute The LORD JESUS went to Matthew and simply said, “Follow ME+,” Matthew did.

SO … Did JESUS force Matthew to follow HIM+ ?

NO. 

The LORD JESUS heard from Our Heavenly FATHER WHO showed HIS Beloved SON+ that Matthew’s heart was turned towards HIMSELF, towards The FATHER. 

Outward appearances

do not always reflect

the position of one’s heart.

Our HOLY, Heavenly FATHER, heard the heart-thoughts of Matthew, an intelligent man who no doubt had weighed the religious Jews and wanted no part of their practices and deals and hypocrisy.

Matthew had no respect for them.  Matthew’s friends were the secular, civil servants of that society. At least, they were REAL .

The HOLY, Heavenly FATHER knew Matthew … and chose him to be one of the close disciples of HIS Beloved SON+ JESUS. The FATHER had drawn Matthew. ( See John 6:44.)

Thus, JESUS chose Matthew, a man that had no previous connection to the religious Jews , a man that seemingly had no previous connection to The MESSIAH+ , according to the New Testament account.

YET, JESUS CHOSE Matthew. . .  just like HE+ chose us.

Our Holy, Heavenly FATHER drew us to HIMSELF when we were not even aware of HIS drawing power, for reasons unknown to us now.

Then, JESUS CHOSE us under the leading of our Heavenly FATHER WHO loveth mankind.

Unbeknown to us, JESUS began pulling many of us out of our family circle and circle of worldly friends. As HE+ pulled us into HIS+  CIRCLE , we chose JESUS back. 

In every obedience to HIS+ WORD, every repentance, every time we conformed unto the Likeness and Image of GOD the ELOHIM⁽⁺⁾ , we chose HIM+ back.   In every submission to HIS+ Will… we tighten the bonds between us and JESUS our LORD.

It is TRUE that HE+ will never leave us nor forsake us.

It is also true that we have MANY opportunities to leave HIM+ out.

Every day, in every thought and motive, we are GIVEN A CHOICE:  to serve SELF or submit our Self to JESUS. … to the TRUTH of HIS+ WORD.

For, JESUS is the Living WORD+,

The EMMANUEL+ “GOD with us”.

If we KNOW that JESUS has chosen us, then:

We have SECURITY

                … because HE+ will never un-choose us… if we respond and  choose HIM+ back.

                If we choose JESUS back, HE+ HIMSELF+ will tighten the security                 between us.

If we KNOW that HE+ has chosen us, then:

We have PEACE

                … knowing HE+ enters ALL situations along with us, working all things together for our good.

If we KNOW that JESUS has chosen us, then:

We have JOY

                … in submitting to HIS+ Will for our life… knowing HE+ has             something else in mind during those hard seasons besides  our quick release from pain:

                The growth of that Good Fruit  TO  BE  USED … when it ripens…             for the Kingdom of GOD.

                GOOD FRUIT is laid to our account in the Heavenlies !  

(That’s where our good fruit “remains.” See the verse at the beginning, John 15:16. )

 

If we KNOW that JESUS has chosen us, then:

We are blessed above all peoples on the earth !

Victory is ours through CHRIST JESUS our EMMANUEL+

Peace on earth

Good Will towards MEN

Our warfare is accomplished.

Against the powers of satan, our war intensifies to set the captives free.

HOWEVER, the Glad Tidings bring

JOY TO THE WORLD !

HE+ is THE WAY+ to have Victory

in the MIDST of the Battle. 

There is no longer war between us and  GOD our FATHER, HIS Beloved SON+ JESUS our REDEEMER+, and their Blessed HOLY SPIRIT.

The Incarnate SON+

JESUS CHRIST our LORD,

WON the Battle

for us !

Isaiah 6:8

Also I heard the voice of THE LORD, saying,

Whom shall I⁽⁺⁾ send,

and who will go for US⁽⁺⁾ ?

Then said I,

Here am I; send me.

The PRINCE+ of PEACE is The LORD JESUS CHRIST, YeSHUA+ haMOSHIAH+. 

For unto us a CHILD+ is born,

unto us a SON+ is given:

and the government shall be

upon HIS+ Shoulder:

and HIS+ Name shall be called:

Wonderful,

Counsellor,

The Mighty GOD,

The Everlasting FATHER,

The PRINCE+ of PEACE.

YES, we all KNOW this Scripture and AFFIRM it is TRUE.

Why, then, are we NOT filled with PEACE in the inner man? Why are our hearts so full of distress and anguish… so much so that our bodies  often sicken and react in a physical way to the emotional stress in our lives ?

Don’t we often sincerely pray, along with the Prophet Isaiah:

“Here am I; send me.”

?  ?  ?

Listen to this Repentance, prayed in Anguish of Heart:

Oh, LORD JESUS ! Once again, I denied Thy+ Goodness to me when I grumbled about the 20 glaring head-lights piercing the darkness and my eyes last night.

Once again, I denied Thy+ Willing Help in time of stress, angry because I had to “tough it out” , driving down a dark and dreary road.

What a wretch I am !

THOU+ hast ever kept me SAFE on all these dark roads whenever THOU+ hast sent me forth. How many, many times I could not see when backing, when parking, when turning onto a side road. Yet, THOU+ diligently have kept me safe each time.

O LORD JESUS, I stand ashamed, knee-deep in the midst of my own pool of filth… attitudes full of self-pity, bitterness … and a hardened heart.

LORD JESUS, I repent with sorrow of heart.

How OLD must I be to walk better with THEE+  in the midst of trials ?

I humble myself to ACCEPT THE CONDITIONS that THOU+ hast allowed to befall me , in the place of Service THOU+ has put me.

I am nailing my grumbling tongue, my bitter thoughts, my SELF-occupied heart to the Cross . For it is THERE, O JESUS, that I will find THEE+.

At that very Place of ANGUISH , I find THEE+ waiting… waiting… waiting for me to come and walk Hand in Hand with THEE+ through the trial.

“Must it be in anguish of heart, LORD ?”

“Yes, My+ daughter. At that very place I+ await you.

“You will receive the Victory over Self there, in My+ Presence.

“I+ will make the bitter waters sweet for you IF you accept the Path as from My+ Hand --- that very path I+ have laid out for you this day, this hour, this minute.

“Look not for tomorrow’s Path. I+ will show  you that when “tomorrow” is here; walk with ME+ today.

“Be not as the horse or mule which have NO understanding and whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle.”

 HERE am I, LORD JESUS. Send me.

Into that place where I am in anguish of heart… where YOU+ await. 

Into that place where my heart suffers blows for Your+ Name’s sake… where YOU+ await.

Into that situation I cannot change and YOU+ won’t… so that I can bear fruit in abundance for THEE+, to lay at Thy+ Nail-scarred feet.

 How do I love THEE+ , LORD JESUS ?

Let me count the Nails … and bring those fruit-bearing Nails into mine own heart , cherishing each hard thing for YOUR+ Name’s Sake.

For I am THINE+ … and I love THEE+, LORD JESUS.

This is the Path of PEACE with CHRIST JESUS, with GOD our FATHER,  which HE+ has made available to EACH ONE of us,  on the paths HE+ has chosen for us.

YES indeed, HE+ is our PEACE that has made us ONE with HIMSELF+ and our HOLY, HEAVENLY FATHER . . .  as we pick up our CROSS and die daily to our Self.

Only JESUS

can turn our Mourning

into Dancing !
