Bruised. Crushed.
For WHAT ?
The LORD JESUS was bruised and brutally crushed for OUR crooked-ness, for OUR twisted-ness, for OUR perversions.
But HE+ was wounded for our transgressions,
HE+ was bruised for our iniquities:

and with HIS+ stripes
we are healed.

No-one can read this verse --- phrase by tremendous, earth-shaking phrase --- and fail to see the LOVE of GOD.
But HE+ was wounded for our transgressions,
Our eyes should be full of tears and our own hearts should be stricken at the unfairness of it all.
Why would Our Heavenly FATHER wound to the death SOMEONE ELSE because WE , not HE+ , have transgressed against the Holiness of GOD ?
Surely HE+ hath borne our griefs,
and carried our sorrows:
yet we did esteem HIM+ stricken,
smitten of GOD,
and afflicted.
Isaiah 53:4

It is NO SECRET that The LORD JESUS CHRIST died for our sins.
It is NO SECRET that HE+ has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows of every sort . . . for HE+ knows well the human heart and what is in man.
Furthermore, HE+ knows the ALL the schemes of the enemy to steal our joy and our peace.
HE+ sees the enemy’s delight in plotting to kill us.
HE+ knows the GOAL of the enemy is to destroy our unity with The LORD, by dragging us into hell and the Lake of Fire with him.
The LORD JESUS is very WELL-AWARE of all the lures and entanglements and snares the enemy has laid for our feet.

HE+ was despised,
and we esteemed HIM+ not.

DESPISED, from the Hebrew language = thought of as VILE. thought of as WORTHLESS. thought of as CONTEMPTIBLE.
From the Palestinian = raise the head loftily and disdainfully.
ESTEEM , from the Hebrew = a primitive root meaning to plait or interpenetrate, (literally) to weave > to plot or contrive > to think, regard, value, compute.

This DESPISING of The MESSIAH+ was foretold by the Prophet Isaiah as an identifying feature of the Coming ONE+. This was a feature that the Ancient People of GOD missed.
a MAN+ of Sorrows,
and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from HIM+;
HE+ was despised,
and we esteemed HIM+ not.

We turned away from HIM+.
We hid our faces from The LORD JESUS CHRIST . . . from the ONE+ Who+ loves us most .
HE+ is despised and rejected of men;
a MAN+ of Sorrows,
and acquainted with grief:
and we hid as it were our faces from HIM+;
HE+ was despised,
and we esteemed HIM+ not.

The LORD JESUS was acquainted with grief. Well acquainted. HE+ knew about suffering.
HE+ is despised and rejected of men;
a MAN+ of Sorrows,
and acquainted with grief:

HE+ was despised,

to whom is the Arm of the LORD revealed?
The ARM of The LORD is revealed to those who BELIEVE HE+ is and is a rewarder of those who diligently trust in HIM+.
But without faith it is
impossible to please HIM: for he that cometh to GOD must believe that HE is and that HE is a rewarder of them that diligently seek HIM. Hebrews 11:6
How do we LEARN to trust HIM+ with our lives ?
In CHRIST, we do things differently. Much differently than how the world does things.

in a sure and certain HOPE
of the Resurrection unto Eternal LIFE,
THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.

The Scripture states that The LORD JESUS CHRIST was the SEED+ of Eve . “SEED” , of course, meaning off-spring, children or child.
But “her SEED+” is curious, as it is stated in Genesis 3:15.
The LORD GOD declared HIS divine, immutable WORD: the SEED+ of a woman, Eve, would eventually come to bruise the head of the lying serpent.
That Prophecy was given as the FIRST PROPHECY concerning the Advent of The LORD JESUS CHRIST , HIM+ becoming robed in human flesh, here upon earth.
And yet, there is COMING ANOTHER BRUISING.

Dear Heavenly FATHER,
YOU planted early in Your Word the first Prophecy of the Advent of Your Only-Begotten SON+.
Thank YOU for that Prophecy.
Thank YOU for including Your Followers in that Prophecy as well, that HE+ will give us HIS+ Victory over the satan even as we live here on planet earth.
We thank YOU for giving Your Beloved SON+ the FINAL VICTORY over the satan, at the End of the Battle for planet earth.
And THAT was included in the First Prophecy too !
We glorify Your SON+ JESUS CHRIST , for HE+ did fulfill, is fulfilling, and will fulfill that first Prophecy to the uttermost.
What a mighty GOD we serve !
