LENTEN SEASON 2025 ~ What Does THE FATHER See ? ~ Isaiah 53:2 b.

 

 Who hath believed our report?

and to whom is the ARM of The LORD revealed? 

Isaiah 53:1

For HE+ shall grow up before HIM

as a tender plant,

and as a root out of a dry ground:

 

HE+ hath no form nor comeliness;

and when we shall see HIM+,

there is no beauty that we should desire HIM+.

In this Prophetic verse in Isaiah:

THE FATHER sees HIS Beloved SON+ WHO+ was with HIM in Heaven from the Foundation of the world. 

The SON+ ascends unto THE FATHER in SPIRIT although His+ human body with all its human limitations, is now His+ abode here on earth.  

Through HIS Divine Eyes, THE FATHER sees a little slip of humanity which now houses HIS SON+ . A tender plant, a slip, a suckling.

HE sees a root in a parched, non-productive soil , sending up a little, green,  growing, and living shoot.  

How can LIFE  come forth

out of parched , barren ground ?

How can a dried-up root

produce a living shoot ?

NATURALLY , this does not happen.

In Isaiah 53, The LORD was not concerned with natural plants growing in a harsh and barren land.

RATHER, HE was focusing on WHERE HE  intended to bring New Life into the midst of HIS dry and barren people .

Sadly, the Ancient People of THE ELOHIM were NOT watching for their MESSIAH+.  They were “dead” to The LORD except for a few pockets of souls alert , watching for their MESSIAH+ , living in the Holy Land. 

The FATHER, however, planted His+ Life THERE !

In the middle of a barren land and hostile people who were SUPPOSED to be HIS own, THE FATHER  installed HIS Beloved SON+.    

The Apostle John records:

HE+ came unto His+ own,

and His+ own received HIM+ not.

 Why were the Ancient People of The ELOHIM so dry and barren ?

Why was there no “good soil” into which their long-promised MESSIAH+  would grow and flourish and FORM A LIVING BODY of Believers ?

This is WHY:

 The Ancient People of GOD had long since moved their hearts away from The ROCK+ which followed them in the desert.  They moved their hearts away from The ROCK+  which gave them water to drink in the vast wilderness twice.

They were dull of hearing and blind of eyes . . . eyes focused only on pleasing SELF.  They heard only “what they wanted to hear” … and disregarded the rest. 

Their worship of GOD had degenerated to rituals that had long ceased to speak to them of anything except how much it cost to provide the required sacrifices.

Sin was so accepted that the sacrifices were an expensive nuisance.

As a result of their hardened heart, HE blinded their eyes even more.  The significance of those sacrifices lost their meaning in the eyes of these hardened, Self-centered people.

They became so DULL of perception , so lacking in spiritual awareness of THE LORD, that  they failed to recognize their own MESSIAH+ and what HE+ came to give them … at no cost ( to them):

The FINAL BLOOD SACRIFICE for their sins.

LET US PRAY:

Heavenly FATHER,

Remove from me all DULLNESS of spirit.

Show me where I am serving Self and not YOU, O LORD.

Keep back Your servant from presumptuous sins,  sins that sneak up on me, sins which I  get away with because no-one can read my mind … but YOU.

O LORD, I don’t want to end up as a dry root , living in a parched and barren heart that produces NO FRUIT.

Forgive me, LORD, and help me to walk worthy of Your SON+ and worthy of our calling.

This I earnestly pray in the Name of JESUS, Your Beloved SON+. Amen.
