But HE+ was wounded for our transgressions,
HE+ was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon HIM+;
and with HIS+ stripes
we are healed.
Isaiah 53:5

No-one can read this verse --- phrase by tremendous, earth-shaking phrase --- and fail to see the LOVE of GOD.
But HE+ was wounded for our transgressions,
Our eyes should be full of tears and our own hearts should be stricken at the unfairness of it all.
Why would Our Heavenly FATHER wound to the death SOMEONE ELSE because WE , not HE+ , have transgressed against the Holiness of GOD ?
We, most assuredly, have crossed over the line . We have followed Self instead of the Holy Ways laid down by The FATHER.
What father would tolerate
total rebellion against him ?
What father would tolerate an obedience which was the LAST PRIORITY of his half-grown child ?
A half-hearted obedience is no obedience at all, in the eyes of Our Heavenly FATHER.
Did The LORD JESUS go to the Cross half-way ?
Did HE+ give us only a part of His+ Body and Blood
… and kept the rest of His+ LIFE for HIMSELF + ?
If that had happened, HE+ would not have been wounded for all the transgressions WE HAVE DONE against THE FATHER.
His+ Obedience went ALL the WAY .
The LORD JESUS went ALL the Way to the Cross for The FATHER.
HE+ went ALL the Way to the Cross for us. . . that we might BE ENABLED . . .
to go ALL THE WAY to the Cross for HIM+.

LET US PRAY:
LORD JESUS,
I repent of holding myself back from the Cross that YOU+ --- in Your+ Love for my soul --- have set before me.
YOU+ have called me to 100% obedience; I have not given it.
YET repeatedly, I have told YOU+ that YOU+ are LORD over my life.
My heart-actions do not match my words, I see.
My spirit is willing, but my flesh is weak.
I see I am much weaker than I thought to perform my vows of TOTAL obedience to YOU+, LORD JESUS.
Forgive me for my slovenly ways !
Help me to perform what my heart has said it would do
-- to keep Your+ Words in heart, action, and attitude --
in the Strength of Your+ HOLY SPIRIT,
by the Unction of Your+ Holy Name,
to the Glory of Our Heavenly FATHER.
Amen.
