2024 CHRISTMAS DAY ~ PEACE ON EARTH, GOODWILL TOWARD MEN !

 

ISAIAH 9:6

⁶ For unto us a CHILD+ is born,

unto us a SON+ is given:

and the government shall be

upon HIS+ Shoulder:

and HIS+ NAME shall be called

Wonderful,

Counsellor,

The Mighty God,

The Everlasting Father,

The Prince of Peace.

O, this wonderful Season to remember The LORD JESUS CHRIST’S miraculous conception, birth, and escape into Egypt !

O, Blessed Book which recorded the adoration of the Magi, the journey they took following a STAR which led them to HIM+.

BUT THE PEOPLE WHO WALK IN DARKNESS . . . still remain !

What a tragedy , for HIS+ Name has been proclaimed in many varied ways,  and the Cross is no stranger to most civilized peoples on the earth today.

YET, we are a nation of CHRIST-REJECTORS.  We are not as the heathen . . . because they have never heard the Name of CHRIST.

This nation is so “familiar” with the precious Name of JESUS that some use it as a slang word !

Let us remember that The Divine Babe is going to carry the Government of the Entire Earth upon His+ Shoulder . . .  and we should take heed to ourselves.

HE+ was made incarnate ONCE and is Coming Back GLORIFIED.

Take heed , O Nation of CHRIST-Rejectors: There will be no mercy granted when HIS+ Feet touch the earth the Second time!

GLORY to The Newborn KING+ !

GLORY to The Soon-Coming Reign of CHRIST the KING+ !

CHRISTMAS DAY 2023 ~ FOR Unto US a CHILD+ is BORN , Unto US, a SON+ is GIVEN

       A CHILD+ is born for us from His+ earthly Mother, but     The Only-Begotten SON+ of GOD is given to us by   Our Heavenly FATHER.

       … Who+ is the BREAD+ of LIFE, born in Beth-    Lehem, The House of Bread.

This Prophetic Scripture does not state that a “child is given”.  This Prophetic Scripture does not state that a “son is born.”

UPON HIS+ SHOULDER............... Tying Together HIS+ Nativity and The TREE+

For unto us a CHILD+ is born,

In ONE VERSE  in the prophet Isaiah, the INCARNATION of the Eternal SON+ of GOD and what HE+ came to accomplish is set forth TOGETHER... tying together the Nativity and the Cross+ of JESUS CHRIST.

Tertullian (c. 160-240 A.D.) writes about this Nativity Passage... and ties it to The TREE** , i.e., the Cross of Our LORD JESUS CHRIST... **not the "Christmas" Tree.  

 

Listen to this famous Early Christian's words. Tertullian says: 

Similarly, again, Isaiah says: "For a child is born to us , and to us is given a son." What novelty is that, unless Isaiah is speaking of the "SON" of GOD?...  and one is born to us, the beginning of whose government has been made "on HIS+ shoulder."

  

What king in the world wears the ensign of his power  on his shoulder, and does not bear either diadem on his head , or else sceptre in his hand, or else some mark of distinctive vesture? 

But the novel "King of ages," CHRIST JESUS, alone reared "on HIS+ shoulder"  HIS+ own novel glory, and power, and sublimity, ... the cross, to wit: that, according to the former prophecy, the LORD thenceforth "might reign from the TREE. (Psalm 96:10)*"
