Blowing the Shofar on Passover
39 And HE+ went a little farther, and fell on His+ Face,
and prayed, saying,
O My+ FATHER,
if it be possible, let this cup pass from ME+:
nevertheless not as I+ will,
but as THOU wilt.
Matthew 26:39

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST knew at the sound of the Shofar on Passover morning that HE+ was going to be The Passover LAMB+ of GOD this time.
This FINAL time, HE+ would become the Last and Final Passover Sacrifice that the earth would know. HE+ would put to rest the need for all future Passover Lambs being slaughtered. HE+ was the last and great --- and SUFFICIENT --- Sacrifice for the human race.
The awful death angel would have no power to plunge into the lower parts of the earth those who were covered by The Divine Blood of this DIVINE PASSOVER LAMB+ of GOD, The LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Yet . . . The LORD JESUS had a normal human reaction to being put to death, a death that would come in the most awful of ways.
Thus, HE+ fell on His+ Face , crying and pleading for THAT CUP to be passed away from HIM+.
7 Who+ in the days of His+ Flesh, when HE+ had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto HIM WHO was able to save HIM+ from death, and was heard in that HE+ feared;
Hebrews 5: 7
His+ Resolve to do His+ FATHER’S Will, however, won the battle before HE+ was crucified.
HE+ agreed with His+ Heavenly FATHER, saying:
Nevertheless not as I+ will, but as THOU wilt.

In our own HARD struggles, TO WHOM do we agree ?
With our Flesh ? With our Self ?
Or, with The WILL of The LORD for our lives ?
Do we find ourselves kicking and screaming against His+ Will, against the limitations that HE+ allows in our lives ?
Do we expend our energy GRIEVING the HOLY SPIRIT with our whining and complaining about His+ Will ?
Or do we, like Jonah, flee from His+ Will, pretending we haven’t heard HIM+ speak to our hearts ?
We ONLY grow when we agree with His+ Will .
