CHRISTMAS EVE in the STABLE

The LAMB+ of GOD ~ The LORD JESUS CHRIST ~ was born in the lowliest of places through a humble young woman who was guarded by a lowly but righteous young man.  

His+ Coming was totally His+ Choice to do His+ FATHER’S Will. His+ FIRST ADVENT was to REDEEM fallen men and to bring them back to Our Heavenly FATHER.

In short, HE+ was born to die. 

 

⁷ But made HIMSELF+ of no reputation,

and took upon HIM+ the form of a servant,

and was made in the likeness of men:

⁸ And being found in fashion as a man,

HE+ humbled HIMSELF+,

and became obedient unto death,

even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:7-8

HE+ obtained what the proud, fallen lucifer never could achieve: HUMILITY. The LORD JESUS made  HIMSELF+ of no reputation.

HE+  set aside His+ Celestial Garments to be robed in human flesh and came to earth cloaked in the form of a helpless human baby . This was the RULER of the Universe ! The CREATOR of mankind!

But we see JESUS, WHO+ was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that HE+ by the Grace of GOD should taste death for every man.

Hebrews 2:9

LET US PRAY

Precious LORD JESUS, I thank YOU+ for Coming to planet earth, knowing full well what awaited YOU+; it was no surprise.

Yet, it was The FATHER’S WILL to bruise YOU+.  For the joy that  was set before YOU+, O LORD CHRIST, YOU+ endured the suffering of death.

I praise YOU+, LORD JESUS, for coming to save me and all the countless souls whom YOU+ have redeemed.

Make me as willing to do Our FATHER’S Will , O LORD JESUS, as YOU+ were. . . . indeed, ARE !
