What CHILD+ is THIS ? ~ #9 Advent 2021 ~ Revelation 12:5 ~ A ROD OF IRON for His+ RESURRECTED SAINTS !

REVELATION 2

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth My+ works unto the end, to him will I+ give power over the nations:

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: 

             even as I+ received of My+ FATHER.

 What CHILD+ is This ?

2021 ADVENT MEDITATION #9

And she brought forth a MAN CHILD+,

who was to rule all nations with a Rod of Iron:

and her CHILD+ was caught up unto GOD, and to HIS throne.  Revelation 12:5

Revelation 12

12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in Heaven; a Woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a Crown  -- a STEPHANOS --  of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in Heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of Heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the Woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her CHILD+ as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a MAN CHILD+, who was to rule all nations with a ROD OF IRON: and her CHILD+ was caught up unto GOD, and to HIS throne.

Psalm 2:7-9

⁷ I will declare the decree:

THE LORD hath said unto ME+,

THOU art my SON+;

this day have I begotten THEE+.

⁸ Ask of ME, and I shall give THEE+ the heathen for Thine+ inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy+ possession.

 

THOU+ shalt break them with a ROD OF IRON;

THOU+ shalt dash them in pieces

like a potter's vessel.

During His+ SECOND ADVENT, not only will The LORD JESUS rule the nations with His+ ROD of IRON, but HE+ will extend His+ Authority to His+ Resurrected Saints !  The Resurrected JESUS tells us this in His+ Warning Message to the Church in Thyatira.

Revelation 2:24 - 27

24 But unto you I+ say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I+ will put upon you none other burden.

25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I+ come.

26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth My+ works unto the end, to him will I+ give power over the nations:

27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: 

             even as I+ received of My+ FATHER.

 

PROPHETICALLY, Psalm 149 states the VERY SAME THING !

4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in HIS people: HE will beautify the meek with salvation. 

5 Let the saints be joyful in Glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6 Let the high praises of GOD be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9 To execute upon them the Judgment written:

this honor have all HIS saints. Praise ye the LORD.

Since we know the Saints in Glory have not YET bound any earthly kings with chains nor their nobles with fetters of iron, THIS HONOR IS YET TO COME !

Glorious GOD ! Magnificent LORD JESUS CHRIST, O Holy ONE, we praise THEE , we bless THEE, we worship THEE.

Thank YOU+ for sharing the Victory with us, the Victory over death, hell, and the grave, at Your+ FIRST ADVENT.

We thank YOU+ for sharing the Rule over the nations with us  . . . which is coming . . . at Your+ SECOND ADVENT !

Help us to walk WORTHY of our calling, WORTHY  to bear Your+ Name to the nations, WORTHY to reveal Your+ Character and Righteousness to the nations.

This we pray in Your+ Mighty Name, O LORD CHRIST. Amen.
