What CHILD+ is This ?

And she brought forth a MAN CHILD+,
Who+ was to rule all nations with a ROD OF IRON:
and her CHILD+ was caught up unto GOD, and to HIS throne.
Revelation 12:5

And there was war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in Heaven. Revelation 12:7-8

Notice anything peculiar about WHO the Heavenly combatants were ?
Michael and “his” angels, is what is stated, so the archangel Michael commanded a Heavenly host in ranks.
Similarly, the dragon has “his” angels as well.
It seems that the arch-angels had been EQUALS in the Heavenly realm before lucifer rebelled. They each commanded a Heavenly host in ranks under them.
The archangel Michael won and Heaven was rid of lucifer --- now the dragon --- and his angels.
Verse 4 states that the dragon drew one-third of the Heavenly host with him, casting them onto the earth. So now, there was or soon would be war on earth too.
The prophet Isaiah states this about lucifer. Isaiah 14:12-15
How art thou fallen from heaven, O lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into Heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of GOD: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14:14
I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will be like the MOST HIGH.
Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell,
to the sides of the pit.

Ezekiel 28 states more detail, Ezekiel 28: 12 -17 ~
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of GOD; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
28:14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so:
thou wast upon the holy mountain of GOD; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
28:15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned:
therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

NOTE: Tyrus was an earthly king. “The Prince of Tyre at the time was Ithobal or Ithbaal II , the name implying his close connection with Baal, the Phoenician supreme god, whose representative he was,” according to Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown’s Commentary on Ezekiel 28:1.
Tyrus was certainly not in the Garden of Eden nor was he the “anointed cherub which covers”. Nor did Tyrus walk up and down upon the “mountain of GOD.” So here the historical jumps to the prophetic realm, giving us a picture of lucifer’s fall.
The “stones of fire” between which lucifer HAD gone back and forth have been suggested to be the planets in our solar system. Some planets now are discovered to have had water , dry river beds, or a form of H2O at some point in the distant past. On Mars, some “structures” have been seen by space photos, structures that were not simply natural occurrences.
Some suggest that the asteroid belt flying in orbit between Mars and Jupiter with all of its thousands of pieces was once a planet called “Rahab”. It was one of those “stones of fire” of Ezekiel 28 but was destroyed during the war in Heaven. It did not remain a planet although its pieces continue in orbit to this day. See Isaiah 51:9 and Psalm 89:10 for what happened to Rahab.

Now notice WHO was missing in this war in Heaven.
The LORD JESUS CHRIST.
HE+ was missing in the battle which took place between the archangels Michael and the fallen angel, lucifer, and the two opposing hosts they commanded.
The LORD JESUS had another battle to fight, even bigger.
HE+ fought for the Redemption of mankind long after lucifer and his fallen angels had corrupted the earth and its inhabitants for thousands of years before the First Advent of CHRIST, the MESSIAH+.
The archangel Michael won the war in Heaven, but THE LORD JESUS fought and won and even HARDER battle.
The LORD JESUS won that hard battle for man’s Redemption for all Eternity during His+ First Advent. HE+ has given man His+ Victory over satan . . . for whosoever will repent and come to HIM+ .
Furthermore, during the Second Advent, The LORD JESUS will return to Redeem the earth from the curse and to renew it and heal it .
LET US PRAY
Dear LORD JESUS,
We thank YOU+ for fighting that hard battle for our soul in Your+ FIRST ADVENT . . . and for winning. We thank YOU+ for the Victory shared so freely with every person who will turn his heart to YOU+.
LORD JESUS, we look forward to the day of Your+ SECOND ADVENT when YOU+ re-claim the earth and renew it and rule over the Nations with a ROD of IRON . Glory to GOD in the Highest ! Amen.
