If the fallen lucifer could not hurt
GOD, then
he aimed to inflict hurt upon the ones instrumental in bringing FORTH
the MESSIAH+ . . . and the ones instrumental in rescuing souls from his
control .
What CHILD+ is This ?

And she brought forth a MAN CHILD+,
WHO+ was to rule all nations with a ROD OF IRON
and her CHILD+ was caught up unto GOD, and to HIS throne.

Therefore rejoice, ye Heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Revelation 12:13
And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the Woman which brought forth the MAN CHILD+.

The dragon OBVIOUSLY saw what was going to happen: he realized the end of his own glory.
· No more power with GOD.
· No more splendid, Heavenly beauty.
· And no more freedom to walk where he once did among the “stones of fire.”
The Divine Man, the DIVINE human Man-CHILD+ , was brought forth to RULE in the Heavenlies. And on earth!
Furthermore, the fallen lucifer would be DEFEATED by the DIVINE human Man-CHILD+ for ALL Eternity. [ GLORY TO GOD ! ]
This happened after the FIRST ADVENT of JESUS CHRIST to planet earth.
It seems when the fallen lucifer was cast onto the earth, he was LOCKED there; he no longer had access to the Heavenlies. That is why all the dwellers in the Heavens REJOICED when he was cast out.
During His+ SECOND ADVENT, all the saints in glorified bodies --- bodies changed like unto His+ Glorious Body --- will REJOICE like the dwellers in the Heavens did !
Being limited to existing on lowly planet earth was very humiliating and confining to that “anointed cherub” , the one who was used to walking as a “leader” with the celestial beings among the stones of fire in space.
Ezekiel 28:14
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the Holy Mountain of GOD; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Some Christian writers declare that those were really the planets in our solar system. Could it be? Science has shown areas of destruction on some of those planets. Mars especially bears signs of a civilization of sorts. The asteroid belt is thought to be the remains of a 5th planet which was destroyed in the Cosmic Rebellion of lucifer and his bad angels.
Humiliation did NOT sit well with the fallen lucifer. Thus, the persecution of the Woman [ i.e., Israel, according to Dr. Pickering ] ensued.
If the fallen lucifer could not hurt GOD, then he aimed to inflict hurt upon the ones instrumental in bringing FORTH the MESSIAH+ and the ones instrumental in rescuing souls from his control.
Are we in that number ?

LET US PRAY
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Send forth Thy bless-ed HOLY SPIRIT with tongues of fire upon us. How badly we need it !
Help us to LIVE for CHRIST JESUS in such a way that the fallen lucifer is afraid of the POWER that is within us, a power which comes from a LIFE totally yielded over to The LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Fill us, submerge us, over-whelm us with HIM+.
Let Thy bless-ed HOLY SPIRIT purge us thoroughly of all things that displease THEE, O FATHER.
Help us against the weakness of our own flesh. Help us to stand against our Self-indulgences and Self-serving , Self-centered nature.
Things that distract us – good or bad -- from CHRIST JESUS , we lay on Thy Altar, O GOD.
And, put upon us a DESIRE to be single-of-eye, single-of-mind, single-of-heart in our service to Thy HOLY SON+ JESUS, slain from the foundation of the world. Empower us to rescue fallen men from the lockjaws of the devil.
O LORD GOD, bring HIM+ again into this dead and dying world, to set it aright with His+ ROD of IRON, and to reward His+ Faithful Workers for all Eternity.
This we pray in the Name of JESUS CHRIST our LORD, Who+ alone has the keys of death and of hell. Amen.
