The TOTAL AUTHORITY of CHRIST'S Un-adulterated, undiminished, and indivisible WORD ~ The JUDGMENT SEAT of CHRIST #5 ~ Pre-Passover Preparation

It is The SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the

words that I+ speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE. John 6:63

But In the Literal Greek, the message is a bit different.  Thus: 

The SPIRIT is LIVING; not profits the flesh, nothing:

the RHEMA

– the collective utterances, topics

~ a plural noun, used as a collective unit ~

that I+ , I+ speak unto you,

IS SPIRIT and IS LIFE.

John 6:63

The LORD JESUS tells us that The HOLY SPIRIT is LIVING. Continuously, On-going. Never ceasing.  

HE+ also tells us there is something else LIVING: His+ spoken utterances, a collective unit.  

It is understood that His+ Words, His+ utterances ( RHEMA ) are a  “collective” , unified WHOLE because the following two stated verbs are specific: both are in the indicative, active, present, and 3^rd person singular form of to be : is. 

Thus we have the (collective, plural) noun

 RHEMA IS SPIRIT and IS LIFE.

Greek grammar fits together properly. RHEMA, The LORD JESUS CHRIST’S spoken utterances on topics or specific matters, then must function as a COLLECTIVE noun, a plural noun understood in this sentence as a SINGLE UNIT because "plural" RHEMA is the SUBJECT of those two singular verbs.

The MESSAGE then is this: ALL of CHRIST’S WORDS that HE+ spoke are to be taken as a whole.  In other words, they must fit together in meaning and concept; we dare not pit one of His+ Words against another.  

None of His+ Words are to “cancel out” another. They may expand or fill out His+ statements, but His+ Words or teachings on a topic must function as a  COLLECTIVE , SINGLE , HARMONIOUS UNIT. 

If some of His+ Words seem contradictory, then we must slow down and seek His+ FACE to see what is the complete message HE+ gave to The Body of Believers on that topic, teaching, or doctrine. 

For instance, let us look His+ Words in these verses.

But I+ say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Luke 6:27

Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor thy father and mother. Luke 10:19

If any man come to ME+, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be My+ Disciple. Luke 14:26

There is no contradiction here among these three verses. 

The LORD JESUS is not contradicting His+ own words or even the words in The LAW  about honoring our parents. HE+ is not saying, as some have accused, that His+ followers must love their enemies but hate their parents ! 

When we read His+ teaching as a whole unit throughout the Gospels, we readily see that HE+ tells His+ Followers to LOVE GOD FIRST and FOREMOST, even more than their own lives. . . even more than those who are most dear to them.

If we understand the focus here is on the collective RHEMA, that understanding will function to keep us SAFE in the Arms of CHRIST during the End Time Events. 

We will realize that we cannot deny CHRIST in any way in order to keep our loved ones from suffering . 

When the mark of the beast is offered us we know where we must stand, even if it means no food, no rent or house payments, and no utilities for our family’s well-being. 

In short, we cast ourselves totally upon The LORD for all these necessities of life.  

Understanding the COLLECTIVE RHEMA, the words and teachings of CHRIST as an indivisible unit, will do something else for us:  It will help us to become TOTALLY SOBER in our Example and Teaching of CHRIST to our children and loved ones.  

It will make us not only PREPARE ourselves to stand with CHRIST JESUS, but it will make us PREPARE with all diligence our children and our Brethren to stand for CHRIST, even at the cost of their lives. 

And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear HIM Who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

 Matthew 10:28

GOD is no respecter of persons. The End Time Events shaping up even now may come to that, like it did a few years ago to the youth who STOOD for JESUS in Iraq when muslim jihadists captured them and tried to force the boys to DENY JESUS and become muslim.  

Terrified and distressed, they one by one told those wicked men, 

“No. We love ‘ISSU+ !”

And one by one, those 10 year olds , 12 year olds, and perhaps 13 year olds, received their WHITE ROBES under the Altar of GOD that day in 2014, Revelation 6:9-11.

Thus, the true MESSAGE of John 6:63 is of utmost importance. 

The SPIRIT is LIVING; not profits the flesh, nothing:

the RHEMA that I+ , I+ speak unto you,

IS SPIRIT and IS LIFE.

John 6:63

The Words of our LORD JESUS CHRIST are infused with The HOLY SPIRIT. 

NO OTHER WORDS of men have the POWER of the LIVING HOLY SPIRIT in them. 

NO OTHER WORDS of men have the AUTHORITY of the LIVING HOLY SPIRIT in them. 

NO OTHER WORDS of men can bring LIFE to the hungry, the LIFE that pours out of The LIVING CHRIST unto the souls of men. 

Taken as a complete UNIT, the utterances of The LORD JESUS CHRIST lead us directly unto The Will of GOD.  

IF we take His+ WORDS literally and at face value, receiving them as a little, teachable child would receive them, they will ENLIGHTEN our darkness and GUIDE our path. 

They will move us from insecurity into an unshakable TRUST of our Heavenly FATHER, whatever HIS Will is for our life . . . and for our death. 

His+ WORDS working in us will transform ALL of our anxieties into His+ DEEP PEACE.

If we allow His+ WORDS to correct us, they will ABUNDANTLY FLOW into us as that Living WATER . That flowing, Living Water of The HOLY SPIRIT will continue to flow forth out of our bellies, John 7:38, from us to others.

His+ WORD is TOTAL AUTHORITY.

If we submit to The WORDS of CHRIST JESUS as the total AUTHORITY over our life, then we will gladly  unify our Self with His+ Will . His+ Joy will rest upon us . . . abundantly. 

LET US PRAY: 

Blessed SAVIOR+, I love Your+ WORD.  I see the LIFE which flows from it, LIFE which no other words of men can give. 

I am sorry for the times I have ignored Your+ Words and set them aside to do my own will. I am sorry I have misconstrued them in order to keep my own values. I am sorry I have not lived “the whole counsel” of GOD.

And, I am sorry I have not honored Your+ WORDS before others, above the words of other men. 

Help me not to be like swine which trample that pearl of great price!

I know many of the Brothers and Sisters in CHRIST have laid down their lives rather than deny Your+ Life-Giving WORDS.

Plant in me a keen desire, O CHRIST, to savor Your+ WORDS above all other words of men, that those Anointed Words may nourish my heart with Your+ SPIRIT. 

Help me, too, to feast on Your+ Word and in Your+ Word to school myself and my precious family and beloved Brethren, so that if any of us are called to witness before a cruel Caesar, we may STAND FOR CHRIST before Coming HOME to YOU+, O LORD.  

This I pray in Your+ Holy Name, O HOLY CHRIST, Who+ never denied our Heavenly FATHER’S WORDS even in the face of angry, hostile men, in the attack of angry, hostile demons, and in the life-robbing cruelty of death upon the cross . . . all for my sake. Amen.
