#17 ~ BORN TO DELIVER US ~ ADVENT 2020

 

Why was HE+ born ? 

The LORD JESUS CHRIST was born to deliver us and  bring many sons to Glory ! 

In order to do this, HE+ had to vanquish the enemy , the satan, who claimed us from Adam's fall. 

We know that HE+ ever liveth to make intercession for us.  The LORD JESUS CHRIST came between the satan and us , to keep us from being destroyed.  

We cannot fight satan in our natural, human strength. If we try, we will lose.

 We need the supernatural strength freely given to us in CHRIST JESUS. Otherwise, we are "free meat" to the satanic forces let loose on planet earth. 

But . . . we have a worse enemy than satan.  Our WORST enemy is Self. 

We cannot possibly win the battle against Self in our own, natural-minded way.  

 When The LORD JESUS won the Victory against satan by going to the Cross, HE+ gave us the pattern to follow SO THAT WE COULD HAVE THAT VICTORY TOO.

 If we SUBMIT our SELF to The LORD JESUS, HE+ will always grant us VICTORY OVER SELF.

  If we submit our thoughts to HIS+ thoughts, as found in the Word of GOD, HE+ will grant us that victory over SELF. 

If we submit our SELF unto the TRUTH of His+ Word and His+ Character, the lies of this world which have infected SELF must flee away.

Yes, HE+ was born to deliver us from Self, to show us HOW to put Self to death while we still live on planet earth.

HE+ was BORN to give us a Second Birth, a life not tainted by satan's rule. 

LET US PRAY: 

O LORD, in the midst of all our holiday activities, let us never lose sight of the REAL GIFT of LIFE which Your+ Birth gave us. 

In the midst of our gift-giving, let us never lose sight of our gift from YOU+ : that Your+ Birth meant Your+ death for us. 

Let us never lose sight that our PEACE was bought at a very high price: Your+ stripes. 

As we express love and good cheer towards our families and friends, let us never lose sight that our family for all Eternity  are all those under the Blood of JESUS CHRIST. . . not those of our natural blood line.  

Thank YOU , Holy FATHER, for sending us Your SON+. 

Thank YOU+ , LORD JESUS, for coming.  

Thank YOU, HOLY SPIRIT, for leading us to Our FATHER in Heaven, through JESUS CHRIST our LORD. 

In the LIFE-Giving name of our VICTORIOUS SAVIOR+, The LORD JESUS CHRIST, we lift  our prayers unto GOD The ELOHIM: The FATHER, The SON+, and The HOLY SPIRIT.  Amen.
