# 12 LENTEN MEDITATION ~ 2023 ~ for the Preparation of the GREAT PASSOVER ~~~ The Morning Sacrifice in the Temple ~ Those 12 Legions of ANGELS Which Were NOT Called

HE+ DID NOT USE HIS+  GREAT POWER FOR HIMSELF + 

 

 This series of Lenten / Passover Meditations will reflect the 3^rd Hour Prayer ( 9 a.m. ) Station observed by the Early Christians.  Today, many liturgical churches continue to observe these ancient prayer hours.  They were based upon the prayer hours in the Temple in Jerusalem.

The Morning Prayer came at the time of the Morning Sacrifice in the Temple, the very time that The LORD JESUS was nailed to the Cross.

Part 3 --- Is It RIGHT to Address Mary as "HOLY" ... in word or in thought ?

Is it right to address Mary as "HOLY MARY" ?

ALL ANGELS of GOD Worship HIM+ ! ... INCARNATION MEDITATIONS 2015 ... for the Monastic-At-Heart

And suddenly, there was with the angels a multitude of the Heavenly Host, praising GOD and saying, GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST!

This True LIGHT+ which lights every man that comes into the world ... is also worshipped by Angels.

ALL of THEM !

And again,

when HE bringeth in

The FIRST-BEGOTTEN+

into the world,

HE saith, And

let 
ALL the angels of GOD

worship HIM+.

Hebrews 1:6

There are some created beings --- and their earth-born followers --- who do NOT worship CHRIST JESUS ... now...  but soon, VERY SOON, they will wish they would have ! 

That at the Name of JESUS 

every , every, EVERY ...

That at the name of JESUS

every knee should bow,

of beings in Heaven,

and beings in earth,

and beings under the earth;

And that every tongue

should confess that

JESUS CHRIST IS LORD,

to the glory of  GOD THE FATHER.

Philippians 2:10-11

Let us Pray:

O LORD, Glorify Thy name and the name of Thy Holy SON+ JESUS CHRIST this day across the earth.

Gladly I bend my knees in worship to The LORD JESUS and the knee of my heart to HIM+ in work, in thought, while I have my being.

O train me now to stay in Thy+ Presence constantly, so that I may bear witness to JESUS my LORD, in season or out, with words or in silence.

Glory be to GOD: The FATHER , WHO created me, HIS Beloved Only-Begotten SON+ Who+ saved me, and The Blessed HOLY SPIRIT, Who sanctifies me.

In the name of Our EMMANUEL, The LORD JESUS CHRIST, I lift these prayers to THEE.

A PERFECTED POSSESSION ... Advent Meditations 2015

Now the GOD of Peace  that brought again from the dead Our LORD JESUS, that Great SHEPHERD+ of the sheep, 
through the Blood of the Ever-lasting Covenant

make you perfect in every good work to do HIS Will, 
working in you that which is well-pleasing in His Sight, 
through JESUS CHRIST; 
to Whom+ be glory for ever and ever.
Hebrews 13:20-21

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST came to prepare a People for Possession, a People HE+ could call His+ own, a People HE+ was not ashamed to call  "Brethren."

How does HE+ prepare such a people? 

HE+ does it this way: 

HE+ calls us to walk the same path HE+ walked.

Hebrews 2:9-11

But we see JESUS, WHO+ was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that HE+ by the grace of GOD should taste death for every man.

For it became HIM, for Whom are all things, and by Whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the Captain+ of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

For both HE+ that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause HE+ is not ashamed to call them brethren

This peculiar people, this holy nation, becomes a perfected people worthy of being possesed by CHRIST when they go through suffering ... that suffering which is ordained by GOD... just as it was ordained for Our LORD'S perfection.

His+ body and His+ mind and His+ spirit endured a tremendous onslaught of temptation for 40 days in the wilderness, in direct combat with the satan and His+ own flesh.

HE+ became perfected every time HE+ chose His+ FATHER'S will over the lures of the satan. 

We do too.

Let us pray:

O Perfect, Tried, and Tested LORD JESUS CHRIST,

I thank THEE+, O CHRIST, for coming in the flesh, for coming a little lower than the angels, for coming to suffer death for me.

I thank THEE+ for enduring the painful path of perfection, when THOU+ was Incarnate. 

O, HOLY ONE+, I need to be perfected. Help me, in my weakness, to choose perfection.

How could it be that THOU+, O CHRIST, needed to be tested ... except that THOU+ had to taste all temptation for every man and beat the satan in it ?  

Help me to remember, O LORD, that THOU+  walked through the valley of temptation for every man with great Victory.

So now, by reason of Thy+ Victory, I renounce my own flesh and my pride and my family spirits that lead me astray and I do this in Thy+ Name, O LORD JESUS CHRIST.

I repent of even listening to the lies and lures of the satan, telling me to choose the way of my flesh, my pride, my family, and the ever-present world,  to make me happy.

Deliver my ears from this death trap, O LORD. Deliver my heart from wanting the easy way.

In my strength and in my weakness, I choose Thy+ Will, O CHRIST, which is the perfect Will of GOD our FATHER.  

Perfect me --- no matter what path that takes ---  that THOU+ will not be ashamed to call me Thy+ "brother" ...

Thy+ brother in suffering, Thy+ brother in perfection.

In Thy+ Blessed and Holy Name, CHRIST JESUS our LORD, receive the meditation of my heart, I pray.

Amen. 

The WORD+ Incarnate... the 9th Day of Christmastide

The New Jerusalem

has no Temple for the

LORD GOD ALMIGHTY

and the LAMB+ are its temple.

O Come, Let us Adore HIM+ !

Such a fabulous city is this New Jerusalem, whose Builder and Maker is GOD, the city which Abraham looked for, a city which had foundations (Hebrews 11:10)  in the Heavenlies. 

Ahh.. those foundations are like no other foundations of any other fabulous city in either the ancient or the modern world.

This city wall has 12 foundations and on them were the names of the 12 apostles of The LAMB+.  These foundations were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. 

The 12 gates were 12 pearls of such magnitude that each individual gate was ONE PEARL! 

Furthermore, 12 Angels were stationed at the gates, one per gate.

Pure gold like transparent glass pave the streets of this fabulous New Jerusalem, which came down from Heaven as a bride adorned for her husband. 

Even more, her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal. 

Meditation

O LAMB+ of GOD,  slain from the foundation of the world, JESUS CHRIST, the Holy CHILD+ born in Bethlehem at the time appointed by The FATHER,

We glorify THEE+ for Thy every act of Good Will purposed, planned, and carried out for mankind from the foundation of the world... in accordance with the Will of Our FATHER in Heaven. 

O HOLY FATHER in Heaven, help us so to agree with Thy Will that we may walk in unity this day with THEE, with Thy Holy SON+ JESUS, and with Thy Blessed HOLY SPIRIT... the three WHO point to the ONE, consubstantial, undivided Tri-Une GOD !    

Passover Meditation #26 for the Lenten Season 2012

~  ~  ~  The Door of the Cross ~  ~  ~

And everyone

living and believing into ME+

shall not ever die,

forever.

WHAT ?  

We all know Christians who have died and have seen their lifeless body of clay at a funeral. We have witnessed those lifeless forms, so dearly beloved, being lowered into the ground and buried.

Didn't they die ?

NO.

NOT IF THEY WERE TRUE CHRISTIANS.

They simply left this location, leaving behind their vessels of clay which had CONTAINED and limited them to this earth, just like JESUS left HIS+ tired Body on the Cross.  A company of angels escorted them (Luke 16:22) through this demon-infested atmosphere and into the Presence of The LORD in the Heavenlies.

NO.

They didn't die.

They merely shed their lifeless, under-the-curse Adamic, earthly form .... but only for a season... just like JESUS left His+ Adamic Body for a short season.  Of course, their season is longer than 3 days and 3 nights, but nonetheless, it is only for a season ... if they did not die in their sins, without JESUS, without hope. 

Then, BEHOLD! Their earthly body will come forth out of the grave --- be it in ocean, earth, or ashes, it matters not to The LORD of Creation --- INTACT, HEALTHY, STRONG, BEAUTIFUL, and GLORIFIED like unto His+ Body !  

For our citizenship

is in Heaven,

from where

we also wait

for a SAVIOR+,

The LORD JESUS CHRIST,

WHO+ will transform

our body of humiliation,

for it to be conformed 

 to His+  Glorious Body,

according to the working

of His+ Power,

even to subject all things

to HIMSELF+.

Philippians 3: 20, 21 

When does this glorious event occur ?

As HE+ is returning to earth

with His+ Heavenly Armies

... and...

with the Company of Saints in Heaven,

the Saints' glorified bodies

will suddenly arise,

uniting

with their living spirits and souls. 

BLINK !

In a moment, a twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet... this change will occur.

After that --- also in a moment -- we who are "alive" yet upon this earth will be transformed and join the resurrected Saints and Our LORD ,

meeting HIM+ in the air as HE+ is returning to reclaim this earth from satan.

HE+ will destroy the darkness that covers the earth with the brightness of His+ Appearing.

What manner of CHRISTIANS then ought we to be ?

Encamping ANGELS...

The Angel of The LORD

encampeth round about them that fear HIM and delivereth them.

Psalm 34 :7

Those angelic beings, ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation...

This is part of a story by Jerry Golden, an American Jew who met The LORD JESUS CHRIST, The Messiah, and now lives in Israel to be  a testimony for The LORD.  Brother Golden has a website from Jerusalem called "The Golden Report." I am writing this report in hopes of encouraging you with a knowledge that God is looking out for you, possibly with an Angel.

It was 1973. Connie (my wife) and I had only been married one year when I got word that my grandfather had died and would be buried in two days; the family wanted me there. It was during the time of the gas embargo, Water Gate, and it seemed that everything thing else was going crazy in the country. We lived in Bethany, Texas.

I remember Connie telling me that I may not be able to make it to West Virginia simply because there were no gas stations open, and the few that were open had very long lines; some folks were waiting two days to fill their tanks.

We prayed about it and decided to trust God and make the trip. To make things even more difficult it was in the dead of winter, and what I didn’t know was that from Tennessee to West Virginia there was a very heavy snow storm raging.

Within an hour I was on the road, kissing good-by to Connie and our new baby Rachel (who has now given us three lovely grandchildren). I remember it took me a couple hours just to find a gas station that would fill up my tank, and that in an area I know well. I remember thinking this is really going to be a test of faith. I had my doubts if I was going to make it.

It seemed that God was with me and the Ruach Ha Kodesh ( Holy Spirit ) was going with and before me; every time I needed gas there was always a gas station that had some for me. That is, until I got the bottom of the highest mountain in Tennessee in the middle of a snowstorm. There was a gas station at the bottom of the mountain, with a big sign that read, "out of gas." My gas gauge said I had less than a 1/8 th. of a tank; my faith about then read the same.

It was snowing so hard you could hardly see where the road was. I got out of the car and went over and sat on the steps of the station and begin to pray. It was ten minutes, possibly more, when I heard a word in my spirit clearly say “TRUST ME+”. I knew I had heard from God or else was it an Angel.

One thing was certain when I stood up: I knew I had no choice but to begin the journey up that very long, dangerous, and twisting road to the top of a very big mountain. I knew also that I didn’t have enough gas to make it to the top and was thinking that the next service station could possibly be all the way down the other side.

I had just made it around the first big horseshoe turn when I saw him; he was an old man, standing beside a old green ford pickup truck. In his hands was a red gas can, the old type with the dome top that held only 5 gallons. I pulled up behind him and walked over to where he was standing ... making no effort to pour the gas into his truck.

I started to tell him why I needed some of that gas, but something inside of me said not to... just ask him for some gas. Many times in my life I was hearing from God and didn’t even know it at the time.

 ~

But as usual, I wasn’t 100% obedient. Instead, I said to the old man, "Could I buy some of that gas from you? I have a real emergency."

~

 With very little expression, just something that sort of resembled a grin, he said to me, "We don’t have any use for money, but you can have the gas." I thanked him and poured the gas into my tank. It was a five-gallon can, but it seemed to take forever for it to empty into my car.

~

As I started to drive away, I rolled down my window and was going to wave at him... but he wasn’t there! The truck wasn’t there! I stopped and got out and looked. There were no tire tracks in the snow !

~

It was then I knew I had met an Angel of God, possibly my personal Angel, who looked over me, for there was something inside of me that said I knew this old man all my life; his voice sounded so familiar.

~

With Holy Spirit "goose bumps" and feeling like I had a glancing shot at something Heavenly, I felt that I floated to the top of that mountain.

That five gallon tank of gas took me from Look Out Mountain in Tennessee to Morgantown, West Virginia. It was a miracle and one that started me knowing that we are watched by Angels and I had met mine...

Lenten Meditation 29 ...Accounted Worthy to Obtain That World

for the Year of Our LORD, 3.5.08

And Jesus answering said unto them,

The children of this world marry,

and are given in marriage:

But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world,

and the resurrection from the dead,

neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

Neither can they die any more:

for they are equal unto the angels;
and are the children of God,

being the children of the resurrection.

LUKE 20:34-36

The LORD'S comments and explanations were in response to the clever Sadducees' questions about "...whose wife was she... in the resurrection... after seven brothers had her to wife ?" HE+ told them their error and set them straight about how it would be in the Resurrection. HE+ will set us straight, too, if we will receive it...
