Your Own DAY of PENTECOST !

 All hail KING JESUS ! 

All hail EMMANUEL !

Have you asked GOD for the Baptism of The HOLY SPIRIT ? It is the birth-right of all baptized Believers in CHRIST.

It is a FURTHER ANOINTING of the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT which is received at Baptism . . . if the repentance has been real. 

It is TIME to Return to The UPPER ROOM

  

And, behold, I+ send the Promise of My+ FATHER upon you:

but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued 

with Power from on High.

Luke 24:49

SPIRITUAL WARFARE #3: NOT by HUMAN Power ~ The DAY OF PENTECOST !

Note this well:
Acts 4:31 occurred AFTER the Day of Pentecost ! It was yet another out-pouring of the HOLY SPIRIT.

We canNOT do the same works of power that the Apostles did, many say . . .  a true statement if WE STOP THERE. 

The FULL truth is this: We cannot do the works of power that the Apostles did . . . WITHOUT HAVING THE SAME BAPTISM of the HOLY SPIRIT, which they received on the Day of Pentecost.

 

Scripture tells us there were OTHER out-pourings of the HOLY SPIRIT upon them even AFTER the Day of Pentecost !  Acts 4. 

Furthermore, these out-pourings of The HOLY SPIRIT were foretold in the Prophet Zechariah, as well.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying,

This is the Word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying,

Not by might, nor by power,

but by My SPIRIT, saith the LORD of Hosts.

Zechariah 4:6

[ We recall the WORKS of power the disciples did when The LORD JESUS directly sent the 70 forth. They returned rejoicing that the [evil] spirits were subject unto them ! Luke 10. 

The HOLY SPIRIT was upon them . . . but not yet WITHIN THEM, as on the day of Pentecost, 50 days after His+ RESURRECTION. 

Our bodies did not become the Temple of the HOLY SPIRIT until after the Day of PENTECOST. ]

John 14:17

Even the SPIRIT of Truth;

Whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him:

but ye know Him;

for He dwelleth with you,

 and shall be in you.

We canNOT fight spiritual warfare in our own human strength. Human strength is NO MATCH for the satan’s  strength.

We canNOT fight lying spirits via human determination. The satan’s will to destroy us is stronger than our strongest determination.

We canNOT fight battles with wicked, tormenting spirits with our mental abilities.  

 Understanding how satan works 

does NOT equal power against him.

The satan understands only one thing: A supernatural POWER which is greater than his.  He and his demonic spirits fear only one thing: The POWER of The LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Thou believest that there is one GOD; thou doest well:

the devils also believe, and tremble.

James 2:19

The satan and his wicked spirits were beaten once. The next battle will be forever.

We humans must obtain power from the HOLY SPIRIT in order to engage in SPIRITUAL WARFARE  . . . VICTORIOUSLY.

In order to do this, we must set aside some time, energy, and determination to PURSUE The LORD JESUS CHRIST and His+ Baptism. 

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: 

but HE+ that cometh after me is Mightier than I,  

Whose+ shoes I am not worthy to bear:

HE+ shall baptize you with the  HOLY SPIRIT and  FIRE:

Matthew 3:11

Although it is freely given, the Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT will cost each one of us something.

It will cost us a LOSS of all Self-illusion, both good and bad. All fantasies and lies about our Self must be REPENTED of , RENOUNCED, and STOOD-AGAINST. We are not the “best” of all nor the “worst” of all people.

Next, it will cost us a LOSS of Self-indulgences. All of them. They must be REPENTED of, RENOUNCED, and STOOD-AGAINST each time they attempt to lure us into their grip.

Then, it will cost us all of our favorite LIES, about everything we think will make us happy. 

This may well include our Beloved Church Doctrines . . . those which may not line up with the unadulterated WORD+ of GOD  . . . to the very foods we eat and the clothing we wear. 

We will be FORCED in the inner man to accept TRUTH, want TRUTH, and embrace TRUTH about everything that touches our lives. . .  regardless of the discomfort or loss of friends TRUTH may bring.

When we FAST and PRAY for His+ Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT, HE+ will show us things to REMOVE that are inside of us, all things that place themselves above our LOVE of The LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Loyalty to HIM+ is the top requirement.

Why should HE+ grant HOLY SPIRIT power to someone who has a half-hearted allegiance to HIM+ ? 

The POWER from HIM+ 

comes to us for us

to DO HIS+ WILL, not ours.

We must be totally walking IN UNISON with our Precious SAVIOR+ in order to know HIS+ Will, then.

The LORD does not share His+ Glory with anyone. Remember:

For MINE OWN SAKE, even for MINE OWN SAKE, will I do it:

for how should MY NAME be polluted?

and I will not give my glory unto another.

Isaiah 48:11

If we SEEK THE LORD, HE+ told us, “I+ will be found of you.” 2 Chronicles 15:2.

 If we SEEK THE LORD and His+ Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT in total honesty and truth in the inner man, HE+ will move. 

Individuals can do this as well as a small group of dedicated, serious-minded CHRISTIANS who are agreed together.

The Ministry of CHRIST pours out of this Glorious Baptism.

Victory over  unclean spirits which are afflicting the Body of CHRIST will be available.  Works of power like as unto the Early Christians will come forth, for the HOLY SPIRIT never changes ! 

If we purpose to LINE UP our hearts and our lives with the unadulterated WORD+ of GOD . . .

If we purpose to  REMOVE from our midst the pursuit of temporal values and even our “good” values which in effect nullify  the WORD+ of GOD . . .

If we purpose to come closer to the LORD JESUS CHRIST in order to minister HIM+  and His+ Salvation to others in this lost, dead, and dying world . . .

Then HE+ will grant our plea and place upon us the STEWARDSHIP of the HOLY SPIRIT, with power and fire.

We must simply DIE to our SELF and LIVE unto CHRIST . We must allow HIM+ to do with us whatsoever HE+ desires.

We must take the claim of OWNERSHIP of our lives OUT our hands and place it into HIS+, for real and for all time.

What? know ye not that your body is the Temple of the HOLY SPIRIT which is in you, which ye have of GOD and ye are not your own? 

For ye are bought with a Price:

therefore glorify GOD in your body, and in your spirit,

WHICH ARE GOD'S. 

1 Corinthians 6: 19-20

When our lives are emptied out of Self and ALL  its temporal goals and we pursue The LORD JESUS CHRIST and His+ Baptism, HE+ will bring us into the Glorious Baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT. 

Then it is that we can ENGAGE  in spiritual warfare

to rescue souls, heal the sick,  and defeat the enemy . . .

to the GLORY of our LORD JESUS CHRIST

and GOD our FATHER !

The RIGHTS of The ELOHIM !

Splendor and honor
and Kingly Power,

are YOURS by right ,
O LORD, our GOD . . .

For THOU created 

everything that is

and for Thy Pleasure

they are and were

created ! 

And YOURS+ , by right , 

O LAMB+ that was slain,

For by THY+ BLOOD

THOU+ hast Redeemed for GOD

 From every family, language, 

people, and nation

a Kingdom of Priests 

to serve our GOD. 

And so, 

to HIM Who sits 

upon The THRONE 

and to CHRIST The LAMB+

Be worship and praise, 

dominion and splendor, 

for ever and forevermore. 

Amen

Then he answered and spake unto me,

A showdown of power between The LORD'S PEOPLE and the global evil  is appearing on the horizon.  

The LORD'S PEOPLE will have only ONE STRENGTH:  The LORD JESUS HIMSELF+.  

HE+ is all we need. 

May The LORD prepare our hearts again for that great Day of Pentecost which is yet to come... when nothing will be able to stop the Coming of The LORD in Power and Great Victory ... coming to reclaim this earth. 

READY for PENTECOST ?

¹¹ I [ John the Baptist ] indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but HE+ that cometh after me is mightier than I, Whose+ shoes I am not worthy to bear: HE+ shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

¹² Whose+ fan is in His+ Hand, and HE+ will throughly purge His+ floor, and gather His+ wheat into the garner; but HE+ will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

PENTECOST  

WHAT DOES IT COST ?

What did it cost the Apostles?

What did it cost the Early Christians?

More importantly, 

what is it costing us ? 

The Day of Pentecost is GLORIOUS because the followers of JESUS were endued with flaming, Heaven-sent Power from on High. They were seeking The LORD with one accord. HE+ came, sending forth His+ Blessed HOLY SPIRIT, so that they could be witnesses of HIM+ throughout the whole earth.   

The HOLY SPIRIT power did not fall on them to make the followers of JESUS famous nor rich nor popular. The Power from on High was not given to enhance their own lives and make them comfortable, healthy, and able to live their lives without trouble. 

Indeed, the very opposite happened. 

In the face of ugly death and cruel torture and horrific slaughter by the demonized enemies of CHRIST JESUS, the HOLY SPIRIT power made them UN-STOPPABLE in proclaiming The LORD JESUS CHRIST.  

They were enabled to stand for JESUS  even in the face of their children and families and friends being butchered.  

This is WHY The Power of Pentecost  is given. We yearn for that power. Do we yearn for what accompanies the out-pouring of the true HOLY SPIRIT ?  

The HOLY SPIRIT is not given to make us comfortable in this life.

The HOLY SPIRIT is poured out to make us holy.  

The HOLY SPIRIT is given to help us stand, like CHRIST JESUS stood in the face of His+ enemies as HE+ was nailed to the Cross. It is invincible. 

Can we stand like these Nigerian Brothers and Sisters did THIS VERY WEEK,  on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 ? 

Can we bear testimony like that 80-year-old saint did, who is now clothed in a white robe, residing under the Altar of the THRONE in Heaven, with the other martyrs ?  

Revelation 6 

⁹ And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the Word of GOD, and for the Testimony which they held:

¹⁰ And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O LORD, Holy and True, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

¹¹ And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Massacre of Christians in North Nigeria (Gwoza)

Update:Death toll rises to 168

The death toll in the bloody attack on the Christian community continues to rise this morning. As of 4^th June 2014, a reliable source who went to Attagara reconfirmed the number of casualties stating that an additional 88 bodies were found, bringing the total to 168 casualties. 

“I counted the corpses with my hands”, he said. Most of them were children and youths.

Another source gave some information on the figures.

• 52 people died at the church compound.
• 48 in the nearby village, Aganjara.
• 29 were found death in a cave after the insurgents trapped and opened fire on them.
• 3 were roasted in a fire.
• 36 were slain with a knife and thrown on the street.

“The attack was so terrible that the actual figure could yet be determined,” he said.

A woman who witnessed the slaughter of her 9 year old son, wailed as she spoke to our correspondent by phone describing the terror. They drug her son and slew him. 

They then grabbed for her younger child who is still nursing, intending to slaughter the innocent. She gripped the insurgents and was able to escape with her baby. “I ran for over 40 kilometers. Only God knows the people that were killed,” said the woman.

An elderly Christian man faced the Boko Haram and died a martyr when the insurgents slashed his body, part by part, with a sword. He had bravely told them,

“IF YOU DON’T REPENT OF KILLING INNOCENT CHRISTIANS THAT BELIEVE IN JESUS, THEIR BLOOD WILL JUDGE YOU.”

This statement provoked the insurgents and they beheaded the 80 year old man, a witness said.

It was gathered that more people were still missing and many of the dead had not yet been retrieved from the hills and nearby bush. 

“I don’t know how to explain this tragedy,” a Pastor lamented. “We just found 2 children lying dead in the toilet.” 

A Community leader who demanded anonymity, confirmed that so many corpses were seen without heads. Many are still in hills and backyards,” he noted.

Very early this morning, the insurgents were seen headed towards Jubrili village with over 400 goats and sheep, 50 cows and valuable items they had looted from the Christians. 10 of them were seen carrying AK 47’s and  moving the animals, a witness said. 

“Go there, you will see them,” he told our correspondent. “They would never cross to Cameroon because the border is being well guarded. But they were trying to move the animals to Sambisa, because our security would never be there,” he added.

When the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

And suddenly, there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing, mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 

And there appeared unto them Cloven Tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 

And they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT, and began to speak with other tongues, as the SPIRIT gave them utterance. Acts 2
