We can readily see in their treatment of  1 John 4:3 that they DID NOT FOLLOW their own well-established criterion for choosing manuscripts to follow, when it came to OMITTING the Test Phrase in that verse.

WHY Does the NESTLE-ALAND 28th Greek New Testament DISCOUNT Manuscripts for 1 John 4:3 ?

OMITTING THE EVIDENCE for INCLUDING 1 JOHN 4:3

Why does the NA 28^th Greek New Testament discount 

66 manuscripts which include the TEST phrase in 1 John 4:3 

. . .  INCLUDING a number of Alexandrian manuscripts

which are in good standing in the Alexandrian camp ?

AND / OR . . .

WHY did the Nestle-Aland 28^th Edition IGNORE Polycarp’s citation of 1 John 4:3 … the earliest possible attestation to that verse ? 

Does the NA 28TH CHOOSE the Alexandrian Manuscripts by DEFAULT or by Honest Scholarship ?
