For, early "manuscripts" do not equal early "texts" of the Bible, especially the New Testament.

Nor does "early manuscript" equal PUREST or BEST Greek Text of the New Testament.

. . .  INCLUDING a number of Alexandrian manuscripts

which are in good standing in the Alexandrian camp ?

AND / OR . . .

WHY did the Nestle-Aland 28^th Edition IGNORE Polycarp’s citation of 1 John 4:3 … the earliest possible attestation to that verse ?
