Meditations for the Monastic-At-Heart
Now is My+ soul troubled;
and what shall I+ say ...
FATHER,
save ME+
from this hour ?
but for this cause
came I+ unto this hour.
FATHER,
Glorify Thy Name.
Then
came there a Voice from Heaven, saying,
I have both glorified IT,
and will glorify IT again.

Meditation Verse
Ephesians 1:20
[ 1:19 And what is the
exceeding greatness of HIS
power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of HIS
mighty power, ]
Which HE wrought
in CHRIST,
when HE
raised HIM+ from the dead,
and set HIM+ at HIS own
right hand
in the heavenly places,
In
the literal Greek:
"... which HE
worked in the CHRIST, raising HIM+
out-from the dead ones and seating HIM+
at HIS Right Hand in the Heavenlies."

Meditation
WHO is doing the energetic, active,
dynamic, operating of that ENORMOUS
power set loose in this Universe ?
It is The FATHER GOD !
HE unleashed HIS Holy power through CHRIST JESUS HIS SON+ when HE
raised HIM+ from the dead ones in the abode of the dead in the heart of the
earth. The Gates of Sheol ( hell ) could not hold HIM+ back !
JESUS said,
" I+ have power
to lay it (My+ Life) down,
and
I+ have power to take IT again.
This commandment
I+ have received
of My+ FATHER.
"
See John 10: 17-18
JESUS always did His+ FATHER'S Will.
HE+ always did His+ FATHER'S
commandments.
The FATHER
GOD, with all HIS
inherent power, has only to speak the Word and it is done.
It was
done by HIS Holy angels:
Bless the LORD, ye His angels,
that excel in strength,
that do His commandments,
hearkening unto the Voice of His WORD+.
Psalm 103:20
It was
done by HIS Holy SON+ JESUS:
And HE that
sent ME+ is with ME+:
The FATHER hath not left ME+
alone;
for I+ do always those things
that please HIM.
John 8:29
We, too, will qualify to receive
POWER from Our FATHER when we
live for one purpose:
to please HIM... always !

LET
US PRAY:
Dear
Heavenly FATHER,
I ,
too , want to receive power from YOU.
I do not know what to do,
what to change, so that I may receive it. Something must change because I do
not have what YOU have promised.
Help me to untangle myself
from the affairs of this life. Help me with QUIETNESS in the inner man.
Move me away from interaction
and fellowship that is not expressly ordained of YOU, O FATHER.
Help me to move away from
hearing the voice of others, O LORD; clear my ears and my mind from the voices
of man.
Show me how to enter into
that stillness of QUIETUDE now, so that I may be enabled to hear Your Voice, O
Gracious FATHER.
Grant me Divine stillness in
the inner man, O LORD , so that I may be directed by that Divine, still, small
Voice like YOU spoke to Elijah ( 1 Kings 19:12).
This I ask by the merits of
Your+ Beloved SON+, my LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

be to The FATHER,
and to HIS
Beloved SON+

the Blessed HOLY SPIRIT.

FATHER,
SON+,
and HOLY SPIRIT,
both now and forever,
world without end.
