The Mystery of Melchizedek FORETELLS the RESURRECTION !
Melchizedek, the HIGH PRIEST of the MOST HIGH GOD, THE ELOHIM,

Day 19
of the 40 Days The LORD JESUS CHRIST
spent with His+ Disciples,
in His+ Glorified Body,
AFTER HIS+ RESURRECTION !

Knowing that CHRIST
being raised from the dead
dieth no more;
Death hath no more dominion
over HIM+.
Romans 6: 9

All Things Must Be Fulfilled
which were written in the Law of Moses and in the prophets and in the Psalms concerning ME+.( Luke 24:44 )
And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, HE+ expounded unto them in all the Scriptures the things concerning HIMSELF+ . ( Luke 24:27 )
And [ JESUS ] said unto them,
Thus it is written
and thus it behoved CHRIST to suffer
and to rise from the dead the third day.
( Luke 24: 46 )

Now we know there are prophecies foretelling of the Advent of CHRIST JESUS. But, where are the prophecies foretelling the suffering of CHRIST, hidden deeply in the Old Covenant ?
Where is it so written that CHRIST must suffer ?
We all know Isaiah 53 describes His+ Suffering. However, let's focus on the more HIDDEN SCRIPTURES that are not so well-known as Isaiah 53. So let's start at the beginning of the five books of Moses, in GENESIS.
Genesis 14:18
And MELCHIZEDEK King of Salem ( Peace ) brought forth
Bread and Wine:
he was the priest of the MOST HIGH GOD.
Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered,
even JESUS,
made an High Priest
for ever
after the order of MELCHISEDEC.
Hebrews 6: 19-20
Genesis 7: 1-7
For this Melchisedec, king of Salem,
priest of the most high God,
who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him; To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also
King of Salem,
which is,
King of peace;
Without father, without mother, without descent,
having neither beginning of days, nor end of life;
but made like unto the SON of GOD;
abideth a priest continually...
... And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest, Who+ is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
For HE testifieth,
THOU+ art a Priest for ever
after the Order of Melchisedec.

Here we see MELCHIZEDEK, the Priest of the MOST HIGH GOD, offered BREAD AND WINE to Abraham and to Whom Abraham --- and indeed , the entire line of the Levitical Priesthood --- paid tithes.
There is never a mention of SUCH a High Priest again in Scriptures until we come to The LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Wherefore, holy brethren,
partakers of the heavenly calling, consider
the APOSTLE+ and HIGH PRIEST+
of our profession,
CHRIST JESUS.
Hebrews 3:1
Bread and Wine were FIRST INSTITUTED as the Body and Blood of The LORD JESUS CHRIST at the Last Passover. That is when HE+ ate with His+ disciples before going to the Cross, explaining to them:
THIS IS MY+ BODY, broken for you.
THIS CUP is the cup of the NEW COVENANT,
MY+ BLOOD, which is shed for you.
The strange incident of "MELCHISEDEK" --- Whom some say was The LORD HIMSELF+ --- may be one of those Scriptures written in Genesis which Our LORD in His+ Glorified Body explained to the disciples .
Undoubtedly, HE+ now had
their UNDIVIDED ATTENTION !
HE+ opened their understanding to SEE His+ suffering portrayed early, very early in the record of the ELOHIM'S dealing with mankind.

Known unto GOD are all His works
from the beginning of the world.
Acts 15:18
And to make all men see
what is the fellowship of the mystery,
which from the beginning of the world
hath been hid in GOD, Who
created all things by JESUS CHRIST:
Ephesians 3:9
I AM Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the LORD, WHO+ is, and WHO+ was, and WHO+ is to come, the ALMIGHTY.
Revelation 1:8
Remember the former things of old:
for I AM GOD ( EL ),
and there is none else;
I AM ELOHIM,
and there is none like ME,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
and from ancient times
the things that are not yet done,
saying,
My counsel shall stand,
and I will do all My pleasure:
Isaiah 46: 9 - 10

Glory be to the LIVING, RESURRECTED SAVIOR+ WHO+ opens our understanding of the hidden things contained in the OLD COVENANT, showing HIMSELF+ to be the fulfillment of all prophecy !
Death has no more dominion over HIM+
... nor for us, eternally !
GLORY, GLORY, HALLELUJAH ! Amen .

HE+ Opened Their Understanding ...
Resurrection Season
Day 14
of the 40 Days
The LORD JESUS CHRIST
spent with His+ Disciples,
in His+ Glorified Body,
AFTER HIS+ RESURRECTION !

Knowing that CHRIST
being raised from the dead dieth no more;

And as they [ the men from Emmaus ] thus spake, JESUS HIMSELF+ stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them,
Peace be unto you.
But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And HE+ said unto them,
Why are ye troubled?
and why do thoughts arise
in your hearts?
Behold My+ hands and My+ feet,
that it is I+ Myself+:
handle ME+, and see;
for a spirit hath not flesh and bones,
as ye see ME+ have.
And when HE+ had thus spoken, HE+ shewed them His+ hands and His+ feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, HE+ said unto them,
Have ye here any meat?
And they gave HIM+ a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And HE+ took it, and did eat before them. And HE+ said unto them,
These are the words
which I+ spake unto you,
while I+ was yet with you,
that all things must be fulfilled,
which were written in the Law of Moses,
and in the Prophets,
and in the Psalms,
concerning ME+.
Then opened HE+ their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures,
Luke 24: 36-45

They did NOT RECEIVE the Testimony...
The LORD JESUS appeared in His+ glorified Body to the Company of His+ Disciples.
Although Followers of JESUS, these men --- every one of them His+ disciples --- were not with Peter nor with the Women of the Company nor with the men walking to Emmaus and thus, they had missed seeing the Resurrected LORD JESUS.
The Company of His+ Followers did not believe ANY reports of their fellow Followers ! They did not believe that The LORD JESUS CHRIST was risen from the dead !
They did Not Receive their Witness.
They had watched HIM+ die, themselves being scared to death. They were gathered together in Jerusalem somewhere, when SUDDENLY HE+ APPEARED among them.
Unlike a spirit, HE+ spoke to them and His+ words were very familiar:
" Peace unto you !" HE+ said.
Did that bring them "peace" ?
NO... because they did not receive His+ Words . They were terrified and frightened. They thought they had SEEN a SPIRIT !
So, HE+ told them to observe His+ hands and His+ feet ... undoubtedly as a means to identify HIMSELF+, that it was indeed HE+ HIMSELF+ , to these terrified disciples who had watched HIM+ die.
HE+ invited them to touch HIM+ in His+ Glorified Body .
HE+ even gave them a rational, concrete explanation: "... for a spirit has not flesh and bones, as you see ME+ have."
Then HE+ showed them His+ hands and His+ feet.
YET they BELIEVED NOT for joy, and wondered !
Then, HE+ ate before them. Undoubtedly, every eye was trained upon His+ biting, chewing, and swallowing!
As they opened their hearts
in Belief
to RECEIVE the TRUTH
of what they perceived
through their senses,
HE+ opened their understanding
that they might understand
The Scriptures.
ALL things written of HIM+ in the Prophets and the Law of Moses and the Psalms concerning HIMSELF+ had to be fulfilled , HE+ explained to them.

O, LORD CHRIST, The First-Born from the Dead,
help me to remember that my heart must be open to the Truth before I can understand it with my mind.
Help me to minister Thy Word+ to others in a way that their hearts are pierced. Then I will know that YOU+, O LORD, will open their understanding of it.
Keep me from teaching to the mind when I ought to be reaching the heart .
O LORD JESUS, Master of men's hearts, show me how to so bring my life in line with Thy+ Truth... that without a word spoken, others will see YOU+ , standing among them.
Blessing and Honor, Glory and Power be unto The LAMB+ forever and ever ! Amen.
