HABITS FOR SALE

The Order of the GOOD SHEPHERD+ has THREE sturdy, surplus habits which have seldom been worn that we would like to sell. 

They are $100 each. They were tailor-made by a brother here at the Order .  All are in good shape.

 

#1 – ALB: Brown, floor-length and very ample, fully-lined with standard nylon garment-lining material, dark maroon-brown.

CAPUCHE and HOOD:  MATCHING but separate Capuche and hood, also of the same brown, heavy cotton-gabardine-type of material. Hood is lined with the same brown material as the outer ALB.

ALB has 7.5 inch sewn-in cuff on the sleeves. The bell sleeves are 11-inches wide, fully lined.   

HEM: 4 inches deep

CLOSURE:  20-inch metal zipper.

Cincture comes with it, black or white. 

 

#2 --- ALB: Brown, floor-length and very ample, of heavy cotton-gabardine-type of material.  .  This one is NOT lined. 

HOOD: The ample HOOD is attached and lined with the same material as the ALB.

SHOULDERS: This Habit has shoulder patches for extra durability , very distinctive looking.

SLEEVES: The Bell sleeves are 11-inches wide, with a 2.5 inch set-in cuff.

CLOSURE: 20-inch metal zipper.

HEM: 2-inches

Cincture comes with it, either black or white.

#3 --- WORK HABIT: This is a hip-length work habit out of  brown, wool. VERY ample. 

It is HALF-LINED: lined around the neck and half-way down the back and front with standard nylon garment-lining material.

HOOD:  attached, brown wool, and also lined with the same brown wool.

SLEEVES:  Raglan sleeves. Bell-shaped, 10-inches wide.  Sleeves have a 3-inch finished hem

CLOSURE: 4 LARGE snaps down to the waist level, securing attached.

HEM: The garment has a 2-inch hem.

SEAMS:  All the seams are finished and hemmed.

SPECIAL NOTE:  The neck is a WIDE, LOOSE boat neck.  A turtle-necked shirt would be good to wear with it .
