The PROMISED ONE+ #2 - Advent Meditations

HE+ Was Promised...#2

.

Guess where the very first PROMISE was given about the Coming MESSIAH+ ?
.
Most would guess correctly:
in The Garden of Eden.
.

Now, guess WHO was the very first one to hear the PROMISE of this pre-planned,  Coming MESSIAH+  ?
.

If you guessed Eve or Adam and Eve…
you are wrong!
.

The first being to receive DIRECTLY to his face  the PROMISE from YHWH ELOHIM of the Coming ONE+ was ... the nachash... that wicked serpent !
.

Genesis 3:15 [ Here, in context,  YHWH ELOHIM ( GOD: The FATHER, SON+, and HOLY SPIRIT ) is directly addressing the nachash which tempted Eve to disobey The LORD. ]
.

And I ( THE LORD)
will put enmity
between thee ( the nachash)
 and the woman,
and between thy seed and her SEED+;

 *HE+ shall bruise thy head,

and thou shalt bruise His+ heel.
.

( Note: Hebrew Grammar has no "it";  Hebrew only uses he or she for independent pronouns, 3rd person singular,  as in this place in this verse.)
.

In Hebrew, nachash is the word translated as "serpent" in the KJV Bible.

However, nachash does NOT mean the earthly animal we know of as a "snake" or reptile or the Greek “herpeton.”

In Hebrew, an adder or an asp or viper are the words used to mean what we call a “snake” or “serpent”, i.e.,  copperheads, rattlesnakes, cobras, pythons, etc.
.

A nachash is a cunning, hissing or whispering, coppery-colored  being ... not a creature in the earth’s animal kingdom at all. Even the Hebrew word for "copper" comes from this root.
.

The LXX ( Septuagint, the Greek Old Testament) tells us in Genesis 3 that this clever "being" who talked to Eve was an OPHIS, in the Greek language.
.

This "ophis" ( pronounced like "office" ) is NOT a reptile, an animal we find in the yard or zoo, but rather a "being" who is a "sharp-eyed" one !

An "ophis" is that very same "serpent" found in Mark 16:18 which refers to the same satanic "being" which was in the Garden beguiling Eve.
.
MARK 16:18

They shall take up serpents "ophis" ;
and if they drink any deadly thing,
it shall not hurt them;
they shall lay hands on the sick,
and they shall recover.
.

We see The LORD bruising something  in Romans... and once again, The PROMISE is stated:
.

Romans 16:20

And the GOD of Peace+
shall bruise  the satan under your feet shortly.
.
The grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST
be with you. Amen.
.

BRUISE, according to Strong's Concordance:
.
(4937) suntri>bw, — soon-tree’-bo; from (4862) (su>n) and the base of (5147) (tri>bov); to crush completely, i.e. to shatter (literal or figurative): — break (in pieces), broken to shivers (+ -hearted), bruise.
.
Thus, we see The PROMISED ONE+  coming to do a MIGHTY WORK… a DIVINE WORK which NO OTHER BEING IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH OR UNDER THE EARTH  could ...  or can … possibly do.
.
HE+ came to beat the satan !
.
This is why Abraham rejoiced to see His+ Day… and he saw it and was GLAD !
.
Let us pray:
.
Bless GOD: FATHER, SON+, and HOLY SPIRIT ! We thank THEE, O GOD, for preparing a way to deliver us from the satan’s power and influence in our lives.
.
Now we do not have to spend our lives serving the satan and his lies. We are no longer forced to follow our fallen Adamic nature, if we come unto Thy SON+ JESUS for salvation.
 .
We praise THEE for sending  Thy SON+ , both planned and slain from the foundation of the world to come, to bruise the satan at such a great cost to Thy Fatherly heart.
.
How can we possibly thank THEE enough, dear Heavenly FATHER ?
.
Help us so to live that we reflect our sincere thanks through our total obedience unto Thy Beloved SON+, our LORD and SAVIOR+ JESUS CHRIST, Who+ lives and reigns with THEE and Thy Blessed HOLY SPIRIT, ONE GOD, forever and ever, world without end to the ages of the ages.  Amen

JESUS is Enough...

CHRISTMASTIDE   MEDITATION

JESUS   IS   ENOUGH ?

Yes, JESUS is enough. HE+ is sufficient for every need, at every hour, at every place on planet earth.

That is why HE+  became INCARNATE, at some point in time on planet earth, about 2000 years ago.

Let's start with the tormenting spirit called "rejection," adapted from: PRAYERS, Christian Word Ministries, 428 Southland Drive, Lexington, KY 40503, www.christianword.org, edition 7, year: unknown.  This prayer book of spiritual warfare prayers may be downloaded freely, according to the introduction written in this book.   ALSO: Instead of "me" , you may insert some other person's name.

JESUS CHRIST, the Incarnated SAVIOR, is more than enough to handle any tormenting spirit called "rejection" from afflicting any person covered by the Blood of the LAMB+ of GOD.

Let us pray:

Strongman, called SPIRIT of Rejection, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST WHO+ came in the flesh, I bind you along with all of your
  • works,
  • roots,
  • fruits,
  • tentacles,
  • links,
  • spirits,
  • lies,
  • deceptions,
  • torments,
  • and demands
that are operating in my life along with all of your spirits of
  •  rejection BY others
  • rejection OF others
  • self-rejection
  • rejection of  GOD
And I cast you out of me along with all of your works, roots, fruits, tentacles, links, spirits, lies, deceptions, torments, and demands,

and I loose you from me and force you to leave me , according to the Will of The LORD JESUS CHRIST and by all the authority HE+ grants me through His+ Blood.

And by the Authority of The Name of JESUS and the Authority in His+ BLOOD I declare, O strongman, spirit of rejection, that all your works are DEAD WORKS in my life and can operate no longer, because I belong to JESUS now.

I loose you from me and command you to go wherever JESUS CHRIST sends you; I command you in His+ Name, by the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST, and under His+ authority, not to come back into my presence again.

I ask, O Heavenly FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, that you would send the Spirit of Adoption to me now, according to Romans 8:15.   Amen.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
