Was JESUS Wrong ?

Was JESUS Wrong ?

Was JESUS Wrong ? 

Was The LORD JESUS CHRIST, The WORD+ Made Flesh, wrong when HE+ told us about hell and Gehenna, as recorded in Mark 9 ?  

Did The KING+ of kings and LORD+ of lords Who+ is seated at the Right Hand of The FATHER, give us false information when HE+ warned us NOT to deny HIM+ before men . . . and the dire consequences that would befall us from The HOLY, Heavenly FATHER  if we did ?

Was The True VINE+, The LORD JESUS wrong again when HE+ warned us branches that The FATHER would prune us off that VINE+ . . .  if we did not bear fruit well-pleasing unto HIM ?    See the discourse in John 15. 

OBVIOUSLY, The LORD JESUS CHRIST 

WAS MORE RIGHT about Hell and Gehenna and

 what HIS+ HOLY, Heavenly FATHER will do 

than we could ever dream possible.

That is WHY our LORD JESUS CHRIST warned us so strongly about staying attached to the True VINE+ , no matter what.  Even to the point of maiming our own eye or hand, if it causes us to SIN; sinning keeps us out of Heaven. 

 The Founding Fathers of this nation were well-trained in Scriptures, but their training was not mixed with faith in The LORD JESUS CHRIST as the Only-Begotten SON+ of GOD. Indeed, they saw HIM+ as a moral teacher . . . but not Divine, not Resurrected, and not the SON+ of GOD.

 Instead, they mixed their "idea" of "nature's god" with Voltaire and Rousseau's "god" of liberty . Voltaire and company wanted freedom FROM The GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob , freedom from The LORDSHIP of JESUS CHRIST. 

Voltaire, let us keep in mind, HATED CHRISTIANITY and wanted it destroyed.

John Adams, widely touted as "the" Christian among them, lauded Voltaire , Rousseau, and the other Free-Thinkers of the French Revolution. Here are Adams' words:

" I should have given my Reason for rejoicing in Voltaire ,etc. It is because I believe they have done more than Even Luther or Calvin to lower the Tone of that proud Hierarchy that shot itself up above the Clouds, and more to propagate religious Liberty than Calvin or Luther, or even Lock.

Pythagoras passed twenty Years, in his Travels . . . that in India he conversed with the Brahmans and read the Shasta, 5000 Years old, written in the Language of the Sacred Sanscrists with the elegance and Sentiments of Plato.

Where is to be found Theology more orthodox or Phylosophy more profound than in the Introduction to the Shasta? "

Let us keep in mind that "religious Liberty" meant in the Founding Fathers' writings the SAME thing that today's atheist groups in this country work towards:  freedom FROM religious constraints of any sort. 

The SEED of atheism and a hatred of The LORD'S ways were well planted, watered, and cultivated during the founding of America.  That SEED of the Founding Fathers is bearing fruit --- hideous fruit --- in modern America. It is fast becoming a place unfit to live in. 

Many are lamenting that America has "fallen away" from its Judaeo-Christian foundation.  The truth of the matter is that America's FOUNDATION was based on Liberty and Freedom from all religious identity and constraints.

Deism, which is "nature's god" , moved "god" conveniently out of the way and worshipped the mind and reason of man. 


SELF was lifted up and considered the "ruler" of each man.  We see the fruits of this worship in the current educational and political and alas, religious systems in America today. Today, there is no Right vs Wrong, no definition of moral decency ; every man does what is "right" . . .  in his own eyes.

Interestingly, an organization of "secularists" in this country has researched the background and letters and writings of the Founding Fathers in order to PROVE that the Christians ARE WRONG in their claim that the Founding Fathers believed in JESUS CHRIST as LORD ! 

It is a shame that these secularists, who are devoted to the mind and "reason", are more honest about the history of the Foundation of America than many Christians who are SUPPOSED to be walking in Truth.  

It not only quotes the Letters and writings of the Founding Fathers, but it quotes historical records which show that the American CHRISTIAN CLERGY of their day viewed Thomas Jefferson as a terrible infidel and campaigned against his bid for president !

Lest any Christian be yet "unconvinced" that the Founding Fathers were Free-Thinkers instead of Christians, here is Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli, 1797, which was drafted by President George Washington. This treaty was ratified unanimously by Congress under President John Adams. 

[ And , when it was published, there were very few voices raised in opposition to the wording of Article 11, according to historical accounts. After all, commerce was commerce. ] 
 

Article 11 reads:

"Art. 11. As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen (Muslims); and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan (Mohammedan) nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

According to Frank Lambert, Professor of History at Purdue University, the assurances in Article 11 were "intended to allay the fears of the Muslim state by insisting that religion would not govern how the treaty was interpreted and enforced. John Adams and the Senate made clear that the pact was between two sovereign states, not between two religious powers." Lambert writes,

"By their actions, the Founding Fathers made clear that their primary concern was religious freedom, not the advancement of a state religion. Individuals, not the government, would define religious faith and practice in the United States. Thus the Founders ensured that in no official sense would America be a Christian Republic. Ten years after the Constitutional Convention ended its work, the country assured the world that the United States was a secular state, and that its negotiations would adhere to the rule of law, not the dictates of the Christian faith. The assurances were contained in the Treaty of Tripoli of 1797 and were intended to allay the fears of the Muslim state by insisting that religion would not govern how the treaty was interpreted and enforced. John Adams and the Senate made clear that the pact was between two sovereign states, not between two religious powers.^[14]

The treaty was printed in the Philadelphia Gazette and two New York papers, with only scant public dissent, most notably from William Cobbett.^[15]

Was The LORD JESUS wrong ? 

NO,  HE+ was not wrong . . .

WE ARE 

 . . .  if we misguidedly laud the Founding Fathers who purposefully,  knowingly,  and determinedly  led the inhabitants of this land AWAY FROM CHRIST JESUS. 

May The LORD have mercy on those who realize this truth. Life is going to become harder and harder for them in America as the SEED of the anti-CHRIST matures into Ripened Fruit.

An Exhortation to Examine our Hearts

Does our church place the Flag of the US on the platform by the pulpit ? 

 Thou shalt have no other gods before ME. Exodus 20:3

Does our Christian curriculum hold up the Founding Fathers of America as noble men of virtue ?

 

But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 

 2 Timothy 3:13

Do our eyes become moist with tears when we hear the national anthem? 

And JESUS answered and said unto him, Get thee behind ME+, satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the LORD thy GOD, and HIM only shalt thou serve.

Do we celebrate the 4th of July religiously ? 

For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles, when we walked in lasciviousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and abominable idolatries:

Do we pledge ALLEGIANCE to the Flag . . . and the nation for which it stands ?  And, teach our children to do the same ? 

A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:8

Draw nigh to GOD, and HE+ will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

James 4:8

If we have done such a thing, let us repent and pray the prayer of RENUNCIATION: 

LORD  and SAVIOR+, JESUS CHRIST, I repent of holding anti-CHRIST sentiments in my heart, of allowing my heart to have divided loyalties.

I repent of trying to live in both the Kingdom of GOD and the kingdom of this world.

I repent of lauding men who disregarded YOU+ and hated Your+ miraculous birth, miracles, and Resurrection. 

I am sorry for leading others, including my own  children, to follow the philosophies of men who knew, but rejected , Your+ Truth as found in Your+ Holy Word.

Therefore, in The Name of The LORD JESUS CHRIST, I  renounce  all forms of nation worship and the lauding of the Founding Fathers.

Cleanse my heart of double-mindedness.  Cleanse my heart of natural-mindedness. Cleanse my heart of these deceiving spirits and send Your+ SPIRIT of Truth in its place.

Create in me a clean heart, O LORD, and renew a RIGHT SPIRIT within me.  Thank YOU+, O LORD for opening my eyes to this great evil. 

Thank YOU+, O LORD, for not casting me away. Thank YOU+ , LORD JESUS, for Your+ Cleansing BLOOD+.

In Your+ Name, O LORD JESUS, I pray, receive this my  imperfect prayer.
